The crowd seem to be enjoying Junjie's choice of entrance music: Kung Fu Fighting. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Li Junjie was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Li Junjie! The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Dmitry Maklakov and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Junjie misses with a body shot.
Benke misses with a low kick. Benke moves out of range of the body kick. Benke lands with a kick to the ribs.
Benke scores with a hook to the body. Junjie takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Junjie takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
It looks like Li Junjie has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Benke goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Benke lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Junjie has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Junjie and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Junjie takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Benke throws a quick inside leg kick. Junjie looks winded! Oooooh!!! Benke has knocked Junjie down with a huge combo! Benke steps away and waves a wobbly Junjie back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Junjie is rocked! A chopping leg kick lands by Benke. Junjie is still on wobbly legs! Can Benke finish him? Benke fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Junjie square on the jaw! Damn, Junjie is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Project Buzzsaw! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Viktor Lagutenko and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Buzzsaw motions for Shepel to come forward. Buzzsaw throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! No luck for Shepel with that takedown attempt. Buzzsaw is looking to clinch. Shepel misses with a takedown and Buzzsaw counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Buzzsaw swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Shepel's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Buzzsaw connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Shepel scrambles back to his feet. Shepel will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alexei Shepel. That's going to take a lot out of him. Shepel moves away from the strike by Buzzsaw. Buzzsaw gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Shepel jumps guard but Buzzsaw stands there with Shepel around his waist. Shepel gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Project Buzzsaw was stalling too much, according to the referee. Buzzsaw misses with an uppercut. Buzzsaw tries to clinch but Shepel moves out of range. Buzzsaw throws a hook but Shepel avoids it easily. Shepel shoots in and drives through. Buzzsaw sprawls well. Shepel fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Buzzsaw clinches. Nice elbow from Buzzsaw.

Shepel gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Buzzsaw's jab looks to have found its range, popping Shepel under the eye. Oh Shepel is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Buzzsaw moves into the clinch. Shepel seems to have got his legs back now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Buzzsaw lands a nice knee to the body. Shepel jumps guard but Buzzsaw stands there with Shepel around his waist. Shepel gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Shepel takes an elbow to the forehead. Buzzsaw lands a nice elbow. Buzzsaw stalling against the cage.
Shepel goes for a takedown attempt but Buzzsaw pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Buzzsaw gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Buzzsaw lands an elbow just above Shepel 's eye. Shepel tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Buzzsaw smiles and moves away.
Buzzsaw throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Shepel stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Shepel on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Project Buzzsaw is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Shepel fails with the takedown and Buzzsaw counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Buzzsaw.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Buzzsaw lands a damaging elbow. Shepel tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Buzzsaw lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Buzzsaw lands an elbow inside. Clinched against the cage, Buzzsaw lands a big elbow that drops Shepel! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Shepel is complaining that he's OK but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Project Buzzsaw! Project Buzzsaw decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McRandy shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Lombard counters with a left to the body. McRandy checks a leg kick nicely. McRandy shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Lombard counters with a leg kick. McRandy drives through with a takedown into Lombard's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. McRandy cracks Lombard with a solid left hand. Lombard looking for a guillotine here but McRandy defends easily.
McRandy preventing the sweep. McRandy lands a couple of elbows. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lombard isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. McRandy stacks Lombard on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by McRandy!
That's one minute gone in the round. Lombard tries to get back to half guard but can't. Lombard takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
McRandy scoring with punches and elbows. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McRandy lands a decent elbow from side control. McRandy is chipping away with strikes.
Lombard manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! McRandy is trying to get back to full guard. McRandy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lombard. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Lombard not landing any meaningful shots this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lombard is trying to control the action in half guard but McRandy is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. McRandy avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Lombard. McRandy wants to improve his position but Lombard is controlling well.
McRandy is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Lombard wants to pass to mount but McRandy is defending the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lombard wants to take a breather but McRandy is having none of it. McRandy is trying is best to control the position here.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Lombard clinches with his opponent.
McRandy is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Lombard gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Jacoby Lombard has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andy McRandy. A frustrated look appears on Lombard's face as he tries to break the clinch. Lombard tried to land a shot to the body but connects with McRandy's elbow. Lombard goes for a takedown in the clinch but McRandy prevents it.
McRandy has Lombard pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Lombard manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lombard crunches a lovely knee into McRandy's ribcage. McRandy wants a takedown but no success here.

McRandy tries to pull guard but Lombard forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Lombard lands a shot to the body. McRandy tries for a takedown but Lombard manages to get underhooks.
McRandy prevents a body shot from Lombard. McRandy tries to score a body lock takedown but Lombard shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Lombard is trying to force a seperation but McRandy has the dominant position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. McRandy drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

A left and a right from Lombard both land. Nice combination. Lombard throws a wild combination but nothing lands. McRandy throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Lombard tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. McRandy is in Lombard's guard. Lombard manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
McRandy regains half guard. McRandy is not content to let Lombard control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McRandy tries to get to full guard but Lombard has control of the leg.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lombard working the head and body with strikes. Lombard seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but McRandy does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Lombard uses his free foot to push down on McRandy's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for McRandy. Lombard prevents McRandy from getting the reversal. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if McRandy can do anything to dispel that myth. Lombard cracks McRandy with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lombard wants to take McRandy's back but he can't do it this time. Lombard tries to control but McRandy wriggling away. McRandy tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lombard can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as McRandy is looking to escape. Lombard working some short elbows here. He postures up to throw some more ground and pound but McRandy slips a leg through to get back to half guard. Nice work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McRandy tries to get to full guard but Lombard has control of the leg.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jacoby Lombard. Lombard wants to clinch. Lombard tries to clinch but McRandy moves away and McRandy counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lombard won't be happy with that. Lombard tries to get back to half guard but can't. Andy McRandy has got the better of the ground game so far. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lombard is working to avoid the ground and pound but McRandy connects with a decent elbow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Jacoby Lombard will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
A punch combination from Lombard misses. Lombard throws a right and a left that both miss. Lombard throws a nice looking combination but McRandy bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Some wild striking there from Lombard.
McRandy misses with a takedown so Lombard counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. McRandy wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. McRandy keeping moving, preventing Lombard from controlling successfully.

McRandy is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. McRandy escapes and gets back to his feet. Lombard leaves McRandy with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McRandy drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. McRandy shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lombard as he jumps to the side. McRandy shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lombard sprawls well. Lombard wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. McRandy gets slowly back to his feet. Left hook, right uppercut from Lombard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. McRandy circles away from the clinch attempt and McRandy counters with a takedown into side control.
And that's the end of the fight! Andy McRandy comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think McRandy has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Evans lands a left and a right that send Pires crashing to the mat, dazed. Evans thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Leonard Pires has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Pires fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Evans avoids it really well and circles away. Oh Pires is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Evans moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Pires! Evans continues to tee off on Pires, landing with a left and a right! Evans connects with a right hand that leaves Pires sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Evans!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Aaron Evans! Aaron Evans really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Al's Supplements - 160 Q for $150 logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.

and Oosteroom counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Jack Dempsey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dempsey throws a series of punches but Oosteroom avoids them all with ease. Dempsey lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Oosteroom throws a head kick that misses. Oosteroom looks to land a body kick but Dempsey moved away. Oosteroom avoids a punch combination nicely.
A combination from Dempsey does no damage. Oosteroom slips a jab and a cross from Dempsey.
Dempsey throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Oosteroom on the wrong end of a nice hook.

and Oosteroom counters with a nice body kick. Dempsey looks to land a combination but Oosteroom avoids it well. Dempsey stalks Oosteroom and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Oosteroom's face. Oosteroom staggers backwards, shaken. Dempsey cracks Oosteroom with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Oosteroom scores with a kick to the midsection. Dempsey takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Dempsey is breathing heavily. Oosteroom throws a low kick but Dempsey moves out of range easily. Dempsey swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
