5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rhydrei Camo! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Summer Carpenter and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Camo scores with a nice right hand.
It looks like Jake Shields has been cut. Camo lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Horrible takedown by Shields or perhaps it was just good defense by Camo which made him look bad. Camo lands a jab. Camo misses with a straight left. Camo swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Shields. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Shields tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Camo swivels and escapes. Nice uppercut there from Camo.
Jake Shields's cut is getting worse. Camo catches Shields with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Shields uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Camo.
That's one minute gone in the round. Camo smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Camo misses with a wild combination.
Shields misses with a takedown attempt and Camo counters with a straight right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jake Shields. That's going to take a lot out of him. Shields fails with a takedown attempt from distance. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Shields. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. A slow jab from Camo misses its intended target. Camo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Camo misses with a looping right. Shields gets a takedown into half guard. Shields in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Camo tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Shields!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boshesh closes the distance and clinches up with Rodrigo Nogueira, looking for a takedown. Boshesh pushes Rodrigo Nogueira against the cage but Rodrigo Nogueira circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Boshesh shoots in for a double leg but Rodrigo Nogueira sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Kim Boshesh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rodrigo Nogueira looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Boshesh shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bronson throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Bronson throws a right hand that Damage ducks under and follows up with a left that Damage also avoids with ease. Damage staying out of range there. Bronson tries to bum rush Damage with a series of wild strikes but Damage uses good footwork to avoid the assault. A jab from Bronson finds it's way through Damage's defenses. Bronson lands a nice shot to the body.

and Damage counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Damage. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Bronson wants to sweep but no luck. Damage controlling from the top position. Damage pushes down on Bronson's leg and manages to get into half guard. Damage decides to return to a standing position. Bronson misses with a two punch combination.
Bronson lands a left and a right that send Damage crashing to the mat, dazed. Bronson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lockdown shoots in and bounces Cao off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Cao trying to control the position.
Lockdown wants to pass the guard but Cao is keeping the position. Lockdown has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Lockdown is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Cao is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Lockdown is aware though and is defending well. Cao working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lockdown doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lockdown manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Lockdown trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cao controls Lockdown momentarily but Lockdown frees himself. Cao keeping full guard, as Lockdown tries to pass. Cao looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Cao had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Lockdown defends it easily. Cao is trying to keep Lockdown in close.

Cao pulls Lockdown in close to his closed guard and prevents Lockdown from doing any damage or advancing position. Lockdown thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Cao has his foot on Lockdown's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lockdown works his way back into a safe position though. Lockdown tries to free his leg and advance position but Cao is retaining full guard. Lockdown working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Lockdown stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cao swivels though and keeps the full guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

He's being very persistent here but Cao manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Lockdown looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lockdown shoots for a takedown but Cao saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Cao missing with a left hand there. Lockdown was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Lockdown gets caught napping as Cao dives in and scores a takedown. Lockdown manages to retain guard. Lockdown is trying to control the position but Cao postures up. Elijah Cao has got the better of the ground game so far. Cao working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Cao working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. That's four minutes gone in the round. A jab from Cao does it's job there. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Cao ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lockdown moves away. A swing and a miss from Lockdown. Lockdown comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Lockdown falls off balance throwing a combination
and Cao counters with a lovely straight right hand! Lockdown fails with a takedown attempt. Lockdown changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Cao looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Cao is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Lockdown's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Cao looking for submissions from an awkward position here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Elijah Cao showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Lockdown tries to reverse the position but Cao maintains control. Cao in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

This has been an exciting period of action! Cao unloading with bombs! Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Cao is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Lockdown can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Cao with shots to the head and body - Lockdown looks very uncomfortable down there. Chico Lockdown has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Cao manages to capitalize on a mistake by Lockdown to take his back! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lockdown is trying to stand back up. Cao looking for the choke from the back.
And that's the end of the fight! Elijah Cao comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Cao has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
