The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Taylor. Taylor fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Taylor is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Neece shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Neece postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Taylor looks a forlorn figure.
Taylor tries to reverse the position but Neece maintains control. Taylor tries to hold on but Neece pushes him away. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Neece cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Taylor is rocked! Neece working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Taylor turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Neece off and cradles Taylor's limp body as Neece celebrates with his corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Houseman doesn't manage to clinch there - Munoz circles away.
Munoz blocks a leg kick. Munoz looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Houseman! Munoz cracks Houseman with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
It looks like Tyler Houseman has been cut. Munoz connects with a bit shot that sees Houseman covering up! More strikes from Munoz and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Munoz is our winner by TKO!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Langlais fails with a takedown attempt. Kares shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Langlais counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Langlais. Langlais gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Kares.
Kares manages to break the clinch.
Kares shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Kares not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Kares throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Kares looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Langlais looking for submissions off his back. Langlais is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Langlais moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kares trying to stand up but can't free himself from Langlais's guard. Langlais is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kares is aware though and is defending well. Langlais looking for a guillotine here but Kares defends easily.

He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kares's guard. Langlais drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kares looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kares looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kares! Langlais takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Kares tries to kick Langlais off but Langlais keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Kares gets full guard. Kares managing to control the position. Langlais takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Langlais tries to buck Kares off but Kares is having none of it. Kares working the ground and pound. You can see the frustration on Langlais's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Langlais tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kares wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Kares grinds an elbow into Langlais's temple.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Langlais is looking for a sweep. Kares working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Kares working away.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Langlais shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Kares manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Kares throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

Langlais shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Kares keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

James stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from McDowell. McDowell tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. McDowell pulls out of a head kick attempt.
James looks to land a combination but McDowell avoids it well. James misses the jab. James moves in looking to clinch but McDowell pushes him off. McDowell is on the wrong end of a nice combination from James. McDowell lands a big head kick that sends James tumbling to the mat! McDowell takes a step backwards and waves James back to his feet - he wants the finish! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. James moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Danga de danga de dang - James scores with a four punch combination! James shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as McDowell holds on and takes a little breather.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Valchek fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Reed manages to avoid it. Valchek looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Reed throws out a loose jab but Valchek uses good head movement to avoid it. Reed looks to throw the jab but Valchek is out of range. Valchek is looking to clinch. Valchek throws a jab but it's blocked by Reed. Reed connects with a looping right hand.

Reed clobbers Valchek with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Reed throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
