The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Negan pushes Styless up against the cage in a clinch.

Styless has Negan pressed against the cage, preventing Negan from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Negan is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Styless can't fight it off and eventually Negan manages to take the fight to the floor. Styless looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Richards screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Shinji Tanaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Shepard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Tanaka might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Yuudachi. John Shepard will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Yuudai has left one of his arms exposed and DeNardo doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Yuudai screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
