0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Peter South! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Alyssa Summers and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Patterson stuffs the takedown. Patterson shoots in for a double leg but South sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. South moves out of range as Patterson throws a body kick.
South shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Patterson napping and manages to drive through into side control! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. South stands up. Patterson scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
It looks like Peter South has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jab, jab by Patterson - just one landing. Nice straight punches there by Patterson. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Patterson. Sloppy strikes from Patterson. Those never looked like landing. South closes the distance and clinches up with Patterson, looking for a takedown. South pushes Patterson against the cage but Patterson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Patterson tries to clinch but South moves out of range. South throws a sloppy head kick and Patterson moves out of range easily. Patterson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from South. Floyd Patterson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Peter South.
That's one minute gone in the round. South keeps the fight on the outside. Patterson clinches. Patterson stalling.
South wants to take the fight to the mat but Patterson manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Patterson is looking to take this one to the mat. Patterson is looking to break free of the clinch but South has double underhooks. South is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Patterson pulls him back up using the underhooks. Patterson tries to circle away but South has him pinned against the cage. Patterson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Patterson misses with a few strikes there.

South throws a series of punches but Patterson moves out of range. Patterson lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Patterson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. South tries to avoid it but Patterson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag South to the ground. South escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Patterson is breathing heavily.

South scores with a takedown into Patterson's guard. Patterson wants to stand but South is controlling the position. South is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. South wants to control from the top but Patterson keeps moving. South stops Patterson from standing up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Patterson looking to sweep here. No luck so far. South tries to free his leg and advance position but Patterson is retaining full guard.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Peter South hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. South looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Patterson working a defensive guard here.
South is looking to pass into half guard but Patterson pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Patterson is in guard. South wants to sweep but no luck. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Patterson tries to stand but South is controlling from the bottom. South wants to sweep here but Patterson controlling him for the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Patterson misses with a few strikes there.

If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. South stalling away here and it's allowed Patterson to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. South throwing strikes from guard but Patterson blocks nicely. South must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. South content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Patterson working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from South. South trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. South trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. South fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Patterson sprawls well initially but South persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Peter South has got the better of the ground game so far. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. South missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. South is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. It looks like South is going to stand back up.
South is trying to work for a kimura but Patterson is defending well.
South takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Patterson pushes South off looking to stand but South dives back in and keeps control.
South is nestled in close to Patterson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Patterson is looking to escape. South is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Patterson defends it well. South is looking to advance position but Patterson won't allow it. South controlling the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. South is working for a kimura but Patterson is defending it quite comfortably.
It looks like South is going to stand back up.
Patterson is trying to maintain the position but South is very close to passing his half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Patterson makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

South trying to control the position from guard on top but Patterson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. South is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. South trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Peter South. Patterson moves in looking to clinch but South pushes him off. Floyd Patterson is winning the standup battle so far. Patterson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
South dives in and scores a takedown into Patterson's guard. South is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Patterson is looking for a triangle but South pushes his legs off easily.
South wants to control from the top but Patterson keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. South cracks Patterson with a solid left hand. South trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. South scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Hammerfist, elbow! yells South's corner. There ya go! There ya go! South trying to control but Patterson is working from the bottom. This has been an exciting period of action! South throws a big right hand that misses. South trying to control the position from guard on top but Patterson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. South looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. South working some strikes from top position. Patterson keeping moving, preventing South from controlling successfully. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Patterson is trying to control the position but South postures up. Patterson has momentary wrist control but South slips an elbow through the middle. South scoring with punches to the head and body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. South wants to control from the top but Patterson keeps moving. South is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Kowalczyk looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Lewis closes the distance and pushes Kowalczyk back into the cage. Lewis lands with a left to the head. Lewis breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kowalczyk shoots in looking for a takedown but Lewis manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kowalczyk's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Lewis wants to clinch up but Kowalczyk keeps it at a distance. Kowalczyk takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Lewis tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Kowalczyk manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Lewis throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Kowalczyk on the side of the head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lewis darts in and clinches Kowalczyk up against the cage. Lewis breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Kowalczyk throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! A leg kick checked by Lewis. Kowalczyk misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Lewis tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kowalczyk swats him away and circles back towards the center. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Culero takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Lonni dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Lonni lands a nice hook to Culero's body. Culero takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Lonni misses with a double jab.

That sent Culero stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Culero avoids the body shot from Lonni.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lonni scores with a jab to the jaw. A jab from Lonni finds it's way through Culero's defenses.

Culero takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. The crowd cheers as Lonni lands an impressive looking overhand right. Culero doesn't seem phased though. Lonni throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Lonni lands with a nice body punch. Culero takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Culero misses with a takedown attempt - Lonni sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Lonni is looking to wear down Culero with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Lonni lands a nice hook to Culero's body. Culero takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Culero avoids a punch combination nicely.

Culero is rocked! Lonni lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Culero or not. Culero prevents a body shot from Lonni. Stalling in the clinch from Lonni.
Lonni's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Lonni throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Lonni throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Culero. Lonni stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Lonni throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Lonni scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Lonni connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Lonni thuds a left hand into Culero's body. Lonni connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Culero momentarily.

Culero is still on wobbly legs! Can Lonni finish him? A shot to the liver by Lonni. Beautiful body shot. Culero seems to have recovered his senses. Lonni cracks Culero with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Culero takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Lonni cracks Culero with a hook to the temple - Culero is on wobbly legs here! Lonni swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Culero falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Lonni wins by TKO!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A looping hook to the body misses from Baggins. Griggs does a little dance to reset his feet. Tyson Griggs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Baggins misses with a straight left. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Griggs. Baggins pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Griggs back to the cage. Baggins follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
It looks like Tyson Griggs has been cut. Some wild striking there from Baggins.
Griggs clinches up with Baggins and pushes him back against the cage. Griggs has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Griggs has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Baggins is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Griggs displaying some good clinch control by pressing Baggins up against the cage. Baggins's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Baggins gets in close and tags Griggs with a short punch that almost sends Griggs to the mat! Oh Griggs is in big trouble! He turns his back on Baggins, trying to create some distance but Baggins rushes him, striking wildly and Griggs goes down! The referee tackles Baggins into the cage to end the fight! Baggins is one violent man!

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marco Cavalcante! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Steve Montenegro and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cavalcante misses with a hook. Cavalcante looks to land a right hand but Helms moved out of range. Cavalcante checks a leg kick. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Cavalcante checks a leg kick. Cavalcante throws a low kick but Helms avoids it. A big right from Helms misses. Helms clobbers Cavalcante with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. A momentary lapse in concentration from Helms enables Cavalcante to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Helms manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Helms wants to sweep but no luck. Cavalcante wants to pass the guard but Helms is keeping the position. Helms on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Helms tries to get out of the position. Helms is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's one minute gone in the round. Helms looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Cavalcante wants to pass the guard but Helms is keeping the position. Cavalcante must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Cavalcante controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Hunter Helms just wasn't active enough. Helms misses the jab. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Helms lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Cavalcante has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Cavalcante and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cavalcante looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Helms is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Cavalcante's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Cavalcante's back! Helms is persistently looking for the submission but Cavalcante is defending it well.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Helms not allowing Cavalcante to control his hands. The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Helms's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Helms is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Cavalcante. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cavalcante is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

Helms bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Cavalcante's guard.

Helms keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Cavalcante's head. Cavalcante is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Cavalcante is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Helms has managed to free his arm - good work. Helms tries to roll over but Cavalcante keeps him under control. Cavalcante throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Cavalcante wants to free his trapped foot but Helms is holding on for dear life with his legs. Helms is not content to let Cavalcante control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cavalcante looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Marco Cavalcante wasn't active enough on the ground. Helms throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Cavalcante sees it coming and avoids it easily. Cavalcante looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Helms! Helms tries to hold on but Cavalcante postures up. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cavalcante wants to control the pace but Helms is squirming around nicely. Helms wants to control but Cavalcante is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Marco Cavalcante will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Helms bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Cavalcante's head backwards. Cavalcante checks a low kick from Helms. Helms throws a leg kick but Cavalcante moved away. Helms swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Helms displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Cavalcante throws out the jab. Cavalcante looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Helms! Cavalcante wants to control the pace but Helms is squirming around nicely.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cavalcante looking to control but Helms is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Helms tries to lock up and control but Cavalcante gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Cavalcante working for a submission but Helms is keeping him at bay. Cavalcante really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Helms. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Cavalcante tries to control but Helms wriggling away. Helms wants to control but Cavalcante is having none of it. Helms sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Helms is trying to maintain the position but Cavalcante is very close to passing his half guard. Helms is refusing to be controlled, as Cavalcante sits in half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marco Cavalcante showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Helms's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
A slow jab from Cavalcante misses its intended target. Helms misses with a leg kick. Cavalcante scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Helms gets back to half guard. Cavalcante wants to free his trapped foot but Helms is holding on for dear life with his legs. Helms regains full guard. Nicely done. That's two minutes gone in the round. Cavalcante is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Helms. Helms with a hook. Hunter Helms seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cavalcante avoids the body shot from Helms.
Cavalcante looks to land a right hand but Helms moved out of range. Cavalcante loads up on a big right hand but Helms slips the punch. Helms thows a left - swing and a miss! Helms throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Helms pivots, looking for a leg kick but Cavalcante is out of range and Helms settles back down. No joy there for Cavalcante, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Helms thuds his right hand into Cavalcante's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Helms throws a hook but Cavalcante blocks it. Cavalcante drives through with a takedown into Helms's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Cavalcante wants to control from the top but Helms keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Helms wants to sweep here but Cavalcante controlling him for the moment. Cavalcante trying to control but Helms is working from the bottom. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Cavalcante tries to free his leg and advance position but Helms is retaining full guard. The ref stands the fighters back up. Marco Cavalcante was stalling too much, according to the referee. Cavalcante throws a head kick that misses. Helms walks forward, straight into a front kick from Cavalcante. Hunter Helms has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Helms gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Cavalcante to score an easy takedown into full guard. Helms lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Cavalcante! Cavalcante tries to hold on but Helms postures up. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cavalcante tries to get back to half guard but can't. Marco Cavalcante is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
And that's the end of the fight! Marco Cavalcante comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Cavalcante winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Langston instigates a clinch. Nice elbow from Stathan. Langston swings wildly with an uppercut but Stathan uses good head movement to avoid it. A short left from Langston. Stathan trying to control the position but instead, Langston has worked for underhooks and has pushed Stathan into the cage. Langston misses with a hook from the clinch. Stathan breaks from the clinch.
Langston tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Stathan counters with an outside leg kick.
Stathan feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Langston's calf. Langston is looking to clinch. Stathan cracks the inside of Langston's front leg. Ronnie Langston seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Langston tries to close the distance and clinch but Stathan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Stathan circles away from the clinch attempt.

Langston moves in looking to clinch but Stathan pushes him off. Stathan thuds his shin into the meat of Langston's side. Langston is breathing heavily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Langston wants to clinch and Stathan counters with a head kick. That will keep Langston thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
That's one minute gone in the round. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Stathan, right into the meat.
Langston tries to keep at a distance but Stathan has taken the fight into the clinch. Stathan's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Stathan trying to land knees to the body.

Stathan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Langston gets tackled into the cage by Stathan. Stathan maintains the clinch. Stathan missing with knees to the body.

Stathan throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Langston's head. Langston on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Stathan. Stathan obviously looking to wear him down.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Langston has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Stathan. Stathan throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Langston. Langston chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Stathan can pounce on him.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Stathan.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stathan connects with an inside leg kick. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Langston crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Stathan - the referee stops the clock and Langston gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Stathan. Langston manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Stathan is looking to slow Langston down with leg kicks. Langston has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Stathan. Stathan looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Stathan.
The fighters circle, before Stathan throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Langston's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Stathan lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kenmoghn connects with a nice short shot to Tyson's temple. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kenmoghn is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Ortiz is rocked! Henderson unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Ortiz! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Henderson is unloading with more strikes now! Ortiz drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No joy there for Kernwald, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Kernwald can't hide his disappointment, as Boreling celebrates the victory.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Henry Ball. Ball takes a shot to the body in his stride.
