The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz dives in and grabs Pope's left leg, looking for a takedown. Pope pushes down on Diaz's head and hops out. Pope fails with an attempt to clinch.

That will dishearten Diaz somewhat. Diaz looks winded! Pope lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Diaz is in Pope's guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Diaz passes Pope's right leg, so he's now in half guard. A decent looking body kick lands there for Glyde. Glyde catches Tandy with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Tandy forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nahasemapetilon gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Alejandro to score an easy takedown into full guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Nahasemapetilon wants to get back to his feet but Alejandro is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Alejandro drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Alejandro as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! It looks like Vladimir Oro has been cut. Oro has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Crocop. Dominickoy Crocop seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Oro drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Crocop working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Oro. Oro wants to control from the top but Crocop keeps moving. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Oro won't allow Crocop to get back to his feet. Crocop trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Oro stands up and waves to Crocop to follow him.

Oro is rocked! It's a brutal combination of punches from Crocop! Oro is backing up but he can't get away as Crocop lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Oro and ends the fight. Great knockout.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Black is defended easily by Escobar. Escobar plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Nice takedown defense from Escobar. No joy for Black on that attempt. Black doesn't succeed with the takedown and Escobar counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Clayton Black. That's going to take a lot out of him. Black tries to score a power double leg takedown but Escobar sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Black somewhat. Black fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Escobar avoids it really well and circles away. Escobar is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Escobar cracks Black with a good jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Black with a poor takedown and Escobar counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Black on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Black shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Good shot there by Escobar. Escobar thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Black if he has to take too many more of those.
Escobar lands a big head kick that sends Black tumbling to the mat! Escobar takes a step backwards and waves Black back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Black is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Black shoots in looking for a takedown but Escobar manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Black's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Oh Black is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! A lazy left from Escobar finds it's target. Escobar cracks Black with a left hook right on the temple and Black goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Escobar lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Black is OK!

Jakobsen manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
