This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
No joy there for Nissen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Smacker shoots for a double leg takedown but Rasputin sprawls well. He's pushed Smacker's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Dick Smacker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Smacker shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Rasputin is trying to defend but Smacker finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

That was a close round but I would say that Dick Smacker will probably get the nod.

Rasputin jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Smacker is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Smacker and Rasputin has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
