The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dog rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but McKay moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Dog misses with a body kick.
A nice leg kick lands there from Dog.
Dog tests McKay's chin there with a solid looking shot.
McKay takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Dog connects with a body shot that sends McKay's belly button to the back.
McKay has his takedown stuffed
and Dog counters with a left and a right that stings McKay.
McKay with a poor takedown
and Dog counters with a nice low kick that buckles McKay's knee momentarily.
Dog goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Dog stuns McKay with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
No luck for McKay with that takedown attempt.
Top Dog has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dalton McKay.

and Dog counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps McKay thinking.

McKay takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
McKay takes a kick to the side of the head.
McKay will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
McKay shoots for a takedown but Dog saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

and McKay takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Dog moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Dog lands a nice looking body kick.

Dog lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

and Dog makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

That kick from Dog tenderised McKay's leg. McKay is trying to keep his angry face on.
Nice uppercut there from Dog.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Dog!
McKay chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Dog can pounce on him.
Top Dog seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dog shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. McKay eats them both and turns towards Dog to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Dog throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent McKay stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
McKay moves to clinch but Dog breaks away
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
McKay with a lazy takedown attempt
and Dog counters with a head kick. That will keep McKay thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Dog lands a big head kick that sends McKay tumbling to the mat! Dog takes a step backwards and waves McKay back to his feet - he wants the finish!

McKay is rocked!

It looks like Dalton McKay has been cut.
Dog connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent McKay tumbling to the canvas! Dog pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! McKay was done - good stoppage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Top Dog!
A very excited looking Top Dog rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

Johnson is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Martin pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Johnson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Martin smiles and moves away.
Nice body punch from Martin.

Martin closes the distance and pushes Johnson back into the cage.
Martin putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Johnson in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
