2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bjorni Kwanko Lohmeri! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Eliza Hachem and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A solid body kick from Kane. Kane ducks under a wild hook from Lohmeri. A looping hook to the body misses from Lohmeri. Kane does a little dance to reset his feet. Kane tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lohmeri paws at him with a jab and circles away. Kane throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Lohmeri's head. Kane is looking to clinch but Lohmeri is avoiding it.

Lohmeri keeps the fight on the outside. Kane displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lohmeri throws out the jab. A head kick from Kane lands but Lohmeri takes it in his stride. It looks like Markus Kane has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kane throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Kane keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Lohmeri.

Barboza tries to clinch up but Yen pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Barboza to the mat! Barboza covers up and Yen unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dog uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cash.

Cash misses with a hook. Dog misses with a shot to the body and Cash counters with a left and a right that stings Dog.
Mad Dog's cut is getting worse. Cash lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Dog at a distance.
Cash throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Cash throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Dog misses with a leg kick and Cash counters with a nice leg kick. Cash scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Cash, right into the meat.
Cash lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Cash cracks Dog with an open hand slap. A punch lands to the side of Dog 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Mad Dog's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Cash connects with a leg kick. Dog looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. A head kick misses from Dog. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nathan Cash dominated that round. The cut man is working on Mad Dog's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Decent striking displayed by Cash there. Mad Dog seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dog throws a head kick that misses. Cash's corner calls for a 1-2. Cash obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Jab from Cash. Cash lands with a cross. Dog wants to land a leg kick but Cash is out of range. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Cash wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Good work by Dog as he checks the leg kick.

Cash ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dog moves away. A chopping leg kick lands by Cash. This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Dog might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far. Dog has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Cash. Dog tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Some bone on bone action there as Dog checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Cash thows a left - swing and a miss! Cash connects with a single shot there. Dog avoids the body shot from Cash.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dog on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. A left lands for Cash. Cash throws the left hand but Dog avoids the punch easily. Dog throws a head kick but Cash moves out of range.
