3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jeff Chan! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Steve Smith and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chan shoots in and drives through. Jones sprawls well. Jones shoots in but Chan avoids the takedown attempt easily. Chan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Jones stuffs the takedown. Chan is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jones sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Twig Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeff Chan. Jones tries to shoot in for a takedown. And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Twig Jones. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jones, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Soupra clobbers Ferreira with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Ferreira takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Soupra has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Ferreira. Soupra tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Soupra tries a head kick but it misses.
Soupra tries to land a front kick but Ferreira steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Soupra misses with a low kick. Soupra feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Ferreira's calf. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Good standup being displayed there by Soupra as he connects with a hook. Ferreira buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shaughnessy throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Shaughnessy fakes high and swings low for a body shot but The Chef manages to avoid it. Shaughnessy avoids the body shot from The Chef.
