Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marshall Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steven McTowlie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harris comes to the cage accompanied by Kiss Me I'm Shit Faced. Steven McTowlie will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marshall Harris! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steven McTowlie! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.

Harris shoots for a double leg takedown but McTowlie sprawls well. He's pushed Harris's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Harris throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around McTowlie's waist but McTowlie gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Harris off to one side. Jab from McTowlie. Harris throws a sloppy head kick and McTowlie moves out of range easily. Harris slips under a jab from McTowlie. McTowlie stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and McTowlie wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marshall Harris. That's going to take a lot out of him. A solid leg kick lands there for McTowlie.
McTowlie is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. McTowlie connects with a solid leg kick.

Harris shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. A nice leg kick lands there from McTowlie. Harris looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? McTowlie is fending him off so far but Harris persists. Nope, McTowlie circles away and we're back to standing. McTowlie thows a body kick. Harris tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Harris avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Harris staying out of range there. Harris throws a combination but it was largely blocked by McTowlie. Harris tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but McTowlie swivels and escapes. McTowlie swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Harris lands a big head kick that sends McTowlie tumbling to the mat! Harris takes a step backwards and waves McTowlie back to his feet - he wants the finish!

McTowlie motions for Harris to come forward. McTowlie throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. McTowlie stuffs the takedown attempt from Harris. Harris gets slowly back to his feet. Steven McTowlie is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Harris gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Harris tries to score a power double leg takedown but McTowlie sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Harris somewhat. McTowlie lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. McTowlie pivots, looking for a leg kick but Harris is out of range and McTowlie settles back down. Harris fails to land the takedown. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marshall Harris dominated that round. The cut man is working on Steven McTowlie's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
McTowlie connects with a solid leg kick. Harris checks the leg kick nicely there.
Harris tries to clinch there but McTowlie circles away.
McTowlie keeps the fight on the outside. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McTowlie turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Harris tries for a takedown but McTowlie sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Harris shoots in for a double leg but McTowlie sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

McTowlie pushes down on Harris's head and hops out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marshall Harris. That's going to take a lot out of him. McTowlie throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Harris shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. McTowlie defends it nicely. Harris tries to clinch but McTowlie moves away and McTowlie counters with a nice low kick that buckles Harris's knee momentarily. McTowlie looks to throw the jab but Harris is out of range. McTowlie throws a looping overhand right but Harris ducks down to avoid it.
Harris closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into McTowlie's guard.

Harris drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Harris jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Harris is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! McTowlie is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! McTowlie has escaped and now he's on top!
McTowlie stands up and waves to Harris to follow him. McTowlie misses with a body shot.
Marshall Harris is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

That will dishearten Harris somewhat. Harris steps to the side to avoid the strikes from McTowlie.

Harris shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts McTowlie as he jumps to the side. McTowlie lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Harris tries to score a power double leg takedown but McTowlie sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Harris somewhat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Steven McTowlie showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Steven McTowlie's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
McTowlie misses with a jab, cross combination.
McTowlie gets caught flat footed, as Harris shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Harris drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and McTowlie dives on top into guard. McTowlie stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Harris swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Harris thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Harris postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! McTowlie is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Harris, into his guard. McTowlie wanted to stand there but Harris had control of the position. Harris wants to stand and escape but McTowlie is having none of it.
McTowlie gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. McTowlie lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

The fight moves into the clinch position. McTowlie putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Harris in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. McTowlie trying to stall but Harris improves his position.
McTowlie's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Harris keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from McTowlie. McTowlie is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. McTowlie scores with a leg kick.

McTowlie throws out a loose jab but Harris uses good head movement to avoid it. Harris checks a leg kick. Harris fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

He's pushed Harris's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marshall Harris. That's going to take a lot out of him. McTowlie stuns Harris with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Harris throws a sloppy head kick and McTowlie cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Harris misses with a head kick.
McTowlie throws a leg kick which misses Harris's front leg but catches the back leg as Harris tries to avoid it.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Steven McTowlie. I think McTowlie has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Steven McTowlie! In his post fight interview, Steven McTowlie started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

Buford closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Mendonca's guard.
Mendonca escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Buford gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Buford works a leg free and moves into half guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Mendonca can do anything to dispel that myth. Buford is taking a breather. Mendonca says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Mendonca scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Buford manages to mount him!

Mendonca looking very determined here, making life difficult for Buford.
Buford is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Mendonca with him. Mendonca is trying to defend but Buford has an arm under the chin now! Mendonca grimaces and is forced to tap out!

Vinicius moves out of range of the leg kick from Miranda.
Miranda moves into the clinch. Vinicius misses with a hook from the clinch. Miranda really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Vinicius has Miranda pressed against the cage, preventing Miranda from circling away and getting back to striking at range. A short right hand to the side of the head by Vinicius. Vinicius throws a head punch that misses. Vinicius misses with a shot to the kidneys.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Miranda escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Miranda shoots for a takedown but Vinicius saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Miranda shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Vinicius sprawls well. Vinicius wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Miranda gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vice Miranda. That's going to take a lot out of him. Vinicius dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Vinicius manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Markus Vinicius is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Vinicius throws a head kick that misses. Miranda doesn't succeed with the takedown and Vinicius counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Oh Miranda is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Vinicius digs a good hook to Miranda's body.
Miranda is breathing heavily. Vinicius plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Miranda to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Miranda just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Markus Vinicius! Our winner, Markus Vinicius, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.

Vinicius gets tackled into the cage by Butcher. Butcher maintains the clinch. Butcher has Vinicius pushed against the cage.
Vinicius breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Butcher shoots in for a takedown but Vinicius shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Butcher walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Vinicius throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Butcher on the side of the head. Vinicius throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Butcher tries to close the distance and clinch up but Vinicius swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Butcher shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Vinicius's guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Butcher won't allow Vinicius to get back to his feet.
Vinicius has his feet on Butcher's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Butcher really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Vinicius keeps the fight on the outside. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Vinicius throws a nice looking combination but Butcher bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Butcher dodges the punch combination from Vinicius.
Butcher has Vinicius up against the cage in a clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Butcher.

Vinicius jumps guard but Butcher stands there with Vinicius around his waist. Vinicius gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Butcher pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Vinicius gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Vinicius wants to stand but Butcher is controlling the position. Butcher throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Vinicius keeping moving, preventing Butcher from controlling successfully. Butcher connects with a couple of short punches. Butcher knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Vinicius on the ground.

Butcher gets a double leg takedown into Vinicius's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Vinicius wants to stand but Butcher is controlling the position. Butcher wants to control from the top but Vinicius keeps moving.
Vinicius pushes Butcher off and gets back to his feet.
Marcus Vinicius seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Vinicius scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Butcher doesn't seem bothered though.

Vinicius lands with a shot to the body. Vinicius moves away from the strike by Butcher. Marcus Vinicius is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Butcher is breathing heavily. Vinicius stalks Butcher and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Butcher's face. Butcher staggers backwards, shaken. Butcher on the wrong end of a nice jab. Butcher walks into a jab. Vinicius throws a shot to the body.
Vinicius scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Butcher doesn't seem bothered though. Vinicius closes the distance and lands a one-two. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Butcher throws out a leg kick but Vinicius moves out of range and Butcher only half commits. Vinicius misses with a head kick.
Butcher takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Vinicius connects with a crisp jab.

Butcher clinches.
Butcher pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Good exchange - Vinicius coming out on top. Vinicius ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Vinicius ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Vinicius thuds his right hand into Butcher's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Butcher takes a body punch but keeps moving. Vinicius scores with a three punch combo!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Jab by Vinicius. Butcher shoots in but no luck this time. Vinicius moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marcus Vinicius dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Vinicius scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Butcher moves into range and clinches up with Vinicius.
Butcher breaks the clinch.
Butcher tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Vinicius scores with a three punch combo!

Bright bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Unhinged regains half guard. Bright is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Unhinged is looking to control Bright's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Unhinged avoid being mounted?
Bright looks to get to his feet but Unhinged has hold of an arm. He's persisting with trying to stand up and Unhinged certainly isn't letting go of the arm! Unhinged seems to be the aggressor now - he's rolled into the armbar and extended it - Bright is clearly in a lot of pain. He's tapping! He's tapping! What an ending! One minute you're in a dominant position, the next you've got a notch in the loss column - that's why we all love this sport!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Tad Unhinged! After winning the bout, Tad Unhinged thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

Ted Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Smith moves into range and connects with a jab. Smith listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Smith lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Smith lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Mityou fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Smith avoids it really well and circles away. Smith throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Mityou . Smith lands a high kick!

Clay moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Clay stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Clay wants it to stay on the feet. Dirt tries to clinch up. Clay displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Clay throws a series of strikes that have Dirt backpedaling.
