That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Zander Murie.

Wursty comes to the cage accompanied by Megadeth - The Skull Beneath The Skin. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Matti Vanhoillinen and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wursty dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Pearson. That did some damage!
The fighters circle momentarily. Wursty darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

It looks like Tyson Pearson has been cut.
Nice body kick from Wursty.
Wursty uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Pearson.
Wursty lands a nice leg kick that just misses Pearson's sensitive parts.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Pearson throws a left and a right that both miss
and Wursty counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Wursty throws a good cross that connects.
Pearson misses with a hook
and Wursty makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Pearson shoots for a takedown but Wursty saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Pearson pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Wursty looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Wursty fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Pearson has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Pearson misses with a straight right.
Wursty lands a nice shot to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pearson takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Pearson on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

and Wursty counters with a nice uppercut.
Pearson is breathing heavily.
Wursty slaps away a takedown attempt from Pearson, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Pearson walks straight into a right hand from Wursty - that's dropped him! Wursty jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Pearson from any more punishment! Pearson complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Antero Wursty!
