22 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jack Arlovski! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Saam Ante and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Belanger connects with a high kick. Belanger defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Arlovski. Belanger turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Belanger just misses with a punch to the body.
Arlovski shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Belanger's guard. Arlovski wants to control from the top but Belanger keeps moving. Arlovski trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Arlovski wants to control from the top but Belanger keeps moving. Arlovski advances position into side control! Belanger tries to improve position but can't. Arlovski is trying to get an arm triangle but Belanger is defending well. Arlovski is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Belanger is just riding it out for now. Arlovski eventually gives up the hold. Arlovski is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

It looks like Jack Arlovski has been cut. Belanger stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Belanger wants it to stay on the feet. A nice leg kick lands there from Belanger. Belanger throws a nice outside leg kick. Belanger misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Arlovski.

Arlovski drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Belanger dives on top into guard. Belanger stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Arlovski swivels though and keeps the full guard. Arlovski utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Belanger controls Arlovski momentarily but Arlovski frees himself. Belanger bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Arlovski's guard. Belanger sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Arlovski's guard. Belanger missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Belanger wants to pass to mount but Arlovski is defending the position. Arlovski is looking for a sweep. Belanger is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Jack Arlovski is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Belanger wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Arlovski misses with a takedown attempt - Belanger sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Belanger feints and then cracks Arlovski's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Arlovski down. Belanger lands a leg kick that knocks Arlovski off balance momentarily. Arlovski walks straight into a jab right on the nose. Arlovski will feel that in the morning. Belanger lands a head kick. Arlovski smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Belanger feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Arlovski's calf. Arlovski takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Arlovski is rocked! Arlovski takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Nice body kick there by Belanger. Arlovski has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Belanger. Belanger lands a head kick!
Arlovski is still on wobbly legs! Can Belanger finish him? Belanger turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Arlovski walks forward, straight into a front kick from Belanger. Belanger scores with a head kick. Arlovski tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Arlovski is defended easily by Belanger. Belanger lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Arlovski can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Belanger and Arlovski drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Belanger.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Bear Junior pushing out the jab but it's not landing. A punch lands to the side of Irvin 's head but he takes it in his stride. Irvin misses with a body kick. Irvin lands a nice looking body kick. Irvin tries to work over Bear Junior's front leg with a kick but Bear Junior checks it. Bear Junior avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Irvin pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts Bear Junior! Two more big strikes from Irvin and Bear Junior crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!

9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jiggaboo Crane! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Albert Achterberg and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zero ducks under a wild hook from Crane. Jiggaboo Crane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Zero jabbing away but nothing is landing. Crane takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Crane rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Zero moves out of range and avoids them all easily. A jab from Crane does it's job there. Zero ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Crane waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Zero. Zero takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Crane missing with a left hand there. Zero was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Zero misses with a leg kick. Zero slips a straight right by Crane. Zero misses with a two punch combination.
Crane tries to land a front kick but Zero steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Zero looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. A low kick from Crane misses and Zero finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Crane lands a jab-cross combination.

Crane throws a chopping leg kick but Zero manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Crane on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Zero. Zero obviously looking to wear him down.

The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Crane loads up on a big right hand but Zero slips the punch. Zero tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Zero defending well as Crane loads up on a big left hand. Crane throws a jab but it's blocked by Zero. Crane avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Crane is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Zero had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Zero rushes Crane and presses him up against the cage. Crane fails to pull guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Crane looks to land a left hand but Zero moved out of range nicely. Zero throws the kick towards the body but Crane avoids it. Zero walks into a left hand. Crane loads up on a big right hand but Zero slips the punch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Sub Zero will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Crane throws a shot from downtown. Zero moves away and avoids it. The fighters circling - Crane throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Crane digs a good body shot into Zero's ribs. A jab lands there for Zero. Zero throws the kick towards the body but Crane avoids it. Zero bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Crane will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Crane takes a swing at Zero's ribcage but misses. Zero pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Crane clobbers Zero with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Zero blocks a leg kick.

and Zero counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Crane is lucky that one didn't land flush. Zero tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Crane misses with a hook

Zero has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. Crane uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Zero. A slow jab from Crane misses its intended target. Zero blocks a jab. Nice defenses there by Zero. Zero misses with a body kick. Zero misses with a looping left. Zero slips under a jab. Crane misses with an uppercut. Zero saw that one coming. Crane's corner calls for a 1-2. Crane obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Zero misses with an attempted mid kick.

He has Crane in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Crane takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Crane wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Oh, another knee lands and Crane is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Crane doesn't seem to be complaining.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gusi lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Schaeffer closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Schaeffer gets control of Gusi's arms and successfully pulls guard. Schaeffer will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Gusi stands up over Schaeffer, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Schaeffer is adopting a defensive guard. Gusi trying to control the position from guard on top but Schaeffer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gusi looking to pass the guard. Gusi has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Gusi drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gusi jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Schaeffer escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. He's hooked one of Gusi's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Gusi's back! Gusi manages to reverse the position and now he's in Schaeffer's guard. Nice work there by Gusi.

Gusi tries to pass to full mount but Schaeffer defends it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gusi looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Gusi connects with a nice short shot to Schaeffer's temple. Schaeffer is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Gusi steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Schaeffer. Schaeffer's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Gusi connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Schaeffer scrambles back to his feet. Gusi takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
It looks like Sasa Gusi has been cut. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Gusi, as that shot connected.
Schaeffer takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Gusi takes a kick to the side of the head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Schaeffer is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Gusi fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Schaeffer, pushing him back against the cage. Schaeffer has clasped his hands together around Gusi's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Casic takes one to the side of the head.
Casic gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Casic throws a big shot that misses. Flush fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Casic manages to avoid it. Casic jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Flush looks to land a left hand but Casic moved out of range nicely. Flush keeps the fight on the outside. Casic misses with a double jab.
Flush looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Takaki displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Keto throws out the jab.

Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Keto escapes and throws Takaki's legs to the side, diving into side control!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A nice inside leg kick there by Soto. That's going to slow Lime down. A good leg kick by Soto. Lime works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Soto scores with a push kick. Soto takes a swing at Lime's ribcage but misses. Lime looks to land a combination but Soto avoids it well. Soto pushes Lime up against the cage in a clinch. Lime blocking some punches.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Soto takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Lime cracks Soto with a nice body shot. Mr Lime has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! A chopping leg kick lands by Soto. Lime looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Lime is looking to chop away at Soto's legs. Lime fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Soto manages to avoid it. Lime misses with a looping left. Soto bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Soto is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Lime can do to turn this around? No joy there for Soto, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lime has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Soto. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! A big right from Soto misses. Soto throws a front kick that sends Lime stumbling back into the cage. Lime throws a front kick aimed at Soto's knee but Soto avoids it well.
And that's the end of the fight! Augusto Soto showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Soto, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Maia. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Maia is rocked! Maia walks straight into a right hand from White - that's dropped him! White jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Maia from any more punishment! Maia complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 4, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Dana White! Dana White is the new middleweight champion! After the fight, Dana White was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
