The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cross misses with a right hand
and Parkachev counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Parkachev throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Parkachev throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Cross.
Parkachev defending well as Cross loads up on a big left hand.
Cross looks for a takedown but Parkachev sprawls well.
Cross changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Parkachev tries to avoid it but Cross manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Parkachev to the ground. Parkachev escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Cross shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Parkachev but Parkachev pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Cross shoots in looking for a takedown. Parkachev tries to sprawl out of it but Cross keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Parkachev manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Parkachev feints a jab promting Cross to slip. Parkachev then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Cross slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Cross lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Parkachev down.

Cross remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

That was a close second round but I would say that Vladimir Parkachev will probably get the nod.

Parkachev connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Cross tumbling to the canvas! Parkachev pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Cross was done - good stoppage!

A less than humble Vladimir Parkachev misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.

They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.

Killer changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Didion tries to avoid it but Killer manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Didion to the ground. Didion escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Oh Killer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A combination from Didion does no damage.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Killer is defended easily by Didion.
Killer walks straight into a right hand from Didion - that's dropped him! Didion jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Killer from any more punishment! Killer complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
