The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck with that takedown attempt from McArmsnappington. The fight moves into the clinch position. McArmsnappington jumps guard but Staley turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. McArmsnappington wants a takedown.

Staley ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Staley no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bateman scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Slader on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Slader throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Nice jab there from Slader.
It looks like Eric Bateman has been cut. Slader avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Bateman misses with a straight right. Bateman looks to land a combination but Slader avoids it well. Slader avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Slader throws out a powerful jab. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Slader bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Bateman with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Slader to score with a decent uppercut. Bateman throws a right hand that misses

After initially coming in at 156.9lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from Sowinski finds it's way through Costa's defenses. Costa looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Sowinski cracks Costa with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Sowinski scores with a jab to the jaw. Costa tries to move into range but Sowinski moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Sowinski lands a head shot. Costa shoots in and drives through. Sowinski sprawls well. Sowinski smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Costa walks into a straight right hand from Sowinski. Costa is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Sowinski jabs Costa right on the nose. Costa blinks but takes it well.
Costa is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Donk. Sowinski catches Costa right on the button with a cross. Oh Costa is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Sowinski has taken the fight to the clinch.

Perhaps he should improve his position first. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hokoyashi is trying desperately to land a takedown but Hill is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Hokoyashi. Nice body kick from Hill. Hill avoids the head kick by Hokoyashi.

Hokoyashi rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hill moves out of range and avoids them all easily. A solid leg kick lands there for Hill.

Hill lands with a right hand. Hill scores with the left hand. Hokoyashi knows he should have avoided that one. Hokoyashi is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Hill. Hokoyashi is still on wobbly legs! Can Hill finish him? The fighters circle, before Hill throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Hokoyashi's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Hill lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schtrappe misses with a combination
and Yakimyuk counters with a stiff right hand. Yakimyuk displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Schtrappe throws out the jab. Yakimyuk lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown by Stinger or perhaps it was just good defense by Chung which made him look bad. Chung closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Stinger did well to prevent Chung getting side control. Stinger is trying to get back to full guard. Stinger is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Chung knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Stinger on the ground. Stinger slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Stinger is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Chung has his hands clasped together but Stinger extends an breaks Chung's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Stinger.
