1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ty Ming! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kuro Gane! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Igor Prikhodko and Dmitry Maklakov.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gane tries to keep at a distance but Ming has taken the fight into the clinch.
Ming escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ming tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gane swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Ming rushes Gane and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Gane drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Gane is trying to break the clinch but Ming is controlling him. Gane wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Ming pulls Gane into guard.

Gane decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Ming tries to close the distance and clinch but Gane swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Ming dodges the punch combination from Gane.

Ming closes the distance and clinches. Ming jumps guard but Gane stands there with Ming around his waist. Ming gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Gane's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Ming lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
 It looks like Kuro Gane has been cut. Kuro Gane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gane tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Ming is able to avoid easily. Gane tries a head kick but it misses.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ming closes this distance looking for a takedown but Gane circles away. Gane pulls out of a head kick attempt.

and Ming counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Ming blocks a head kick by Gane.
Ming has closed the distance and engaged Gane in a clinch.
Gane wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Ming has him pressed against the cage. Ming has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Gane after a bit of a struggle. Ming stalls.

Gane has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Ming clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! This has been an exciting period of action! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Gane throwing damaging strikes from the back! Ming could be in trouble here!

Gane swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

Nice work. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ming is looking to clinch. Gane throws a sloppy head kick and Ming moves out of range easily. Ming tries to close the distance and clinch but Gane swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Ming throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gane's waist but Gane gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ming off to one side. Ming tries to clinch up but Gane circles away and keeps his distance. Gane will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Gane rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ming moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Ming tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gane swats him away and circles back towards the center. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Gane falls off balance throwing a combination
and Ming counters with a head kick. That will keep Gane thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Ming is looking to clinch. Ming tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Gane manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Ming looks to land a combination. Gane sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Gane misses with a head kick.

Gane tries to avoid it but Ming manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gane to the ground. Gane escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Gane throws a right hand that Ming ducks under and follows up with a left that Ming also avoids with ease. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Ming looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Gane is looking to clinch but Ming is avoiding it.
Gane pushes Ming up against the cage in a clinch. Gane is defending well against a takedown attempt. Ming looking to throw knees to the head but Gane is blocking nicely.
Ming creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. A frustrated look appears on Gane's face as he tries to break the clinch. Ming is defending well against a takedown attempt. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Ming takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Ming can't get the takedown.

Gane fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ming, pushing him back against the cage. Ming is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Gane is looking to break free of the clinch but Ming has double underhooks.

Gane pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Ming shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gane as he avoids it easily. Gane scores to the head and body with a nice combination! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Gane misses with a wild combination.

Gane works over Ming's head and body with a nice combination. Ming shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gane as he jumps to the side. Gane misses with a double jab.

and Ming counters by moving into the clinch. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Gane managing to block the knees to the body from Ming.

Ming will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Gane gets to his feet. Ming looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Ming has Gane pressed against the cage, preventing Gane from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Gane is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. A knee to the head by Ming.

Ming is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Gane gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Gane has Ming pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Ming manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Ming goes for a takedown in the clinch but Gane prevents it.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Gane wants to break free but Ming has control.
Ming's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Ming lands a knee to the head.

Gane gets a trip takedown into half guard. Ming taking some punishment here, with Gane in his half guard. Gane not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Ming tries to kick Gane off but Gane keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Gane connects with a nice short shot to Ming's temple. Kuro Gane has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Ty Ming is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Gane scoring with strikes to the body and head.
And that's the end of the fight! Kuro Gane comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Ming has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Ross closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Straps might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Straps is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Ross with the ground and pound but Straps uses the opportunity to regain guard. Straps trying to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Straps looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Ross is defending well. Straps quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Ross has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Straps celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Vasquez darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Vasquez takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Vasquez works his way into full mount! Vasquez punishing his opponent with strikes. Vasquez has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Vasquez moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Kochergin has worked his arm free - good work by Kochergin!
Vasquez throwing shots but missing, from side control. Vasquez lands a few punches from side control. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Vasquez goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Kochergin rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Vasquez's guard! Nice work there by Kochergin! Vasquez is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Vasquez pushes a forearm under Kochergin's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Kochergin is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Hard tries to keep at a distance but Paul has taken the fight into the clinch.
Hard works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Hard stops Paul from standing up. Paul managing to control the position. Hard stopping the sweep attempt from Paul. Hard loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Hard lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Paul is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Paul is in trouble now - Hard has advanced to mount! Hard lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Paul hang on? BOOM! Hard connects with a massive shot to the dome!

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Paul is working hard here to advance position. Hard looking to finish Paul with some ground and pound. This is bad for Paul! Paul wants to hold on but Hard pushes him away. Hard dominating with strikes here. Paul takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Paul is wriggling around trying to escape.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Hard cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Hard with shots to the head and body - Paul looks very uncomfortable down there.
 Paul is rocked! Hard loads up with a big shot that hurts Paul! He's pulled Hard in close but Hard has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Paul survive? More strikes from Hard and Paul is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Makosi Karolczak! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Young Nigga! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Valeri Chadov and Dmitry Maklakov.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nigga shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Karolczak counters with a nice double leg into side control. Nigga won't be happy with that. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Karolczak remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Karolczak working away. Nigga is looking for a sweep. Nigga can't do much from the bottom here.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Nigga trying to remain calm as Karolczak controls from the top position.
 The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. A combination from Nigga does no damage. Nigga changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Karolczak tries to avoid it but Nigga manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Karolczak to the ground. Karolczak escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. No luck with that takedown attempt from Nigga. Makosi Karolczak has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Young Nigga. Nigga stuffs the takedown attempt from Karolczak. Karolczak gets slowly back to his feet.

Karolczak pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. A punch combination from Nigga misses.
Karolczak shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Nigga napping and manages to drive through into side control! Nigga is trying to improve his position. Nigga can't do much from the bottom here. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Karolczak seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Nigga for as long as he can get away with. Nigga is looking to regain half guard here but Karolczak keeps moving and retains side control. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Nigga wants to control but Karolczak postures up.
 The ref stands the fighters back up. Young Nigga was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Karolczak decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Karolczak uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Nigga. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Karolczak is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Karolczak avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Nigga throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Karolczak fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Nigga to the ground. Karolczak is now in Nigga's guard. Nigga looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Karolczak passes Nigga's left leg - he's now in half guard. Nigga wants to improve his position but Karolczak is controlling well.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Karolczak sitting and controlling from the half guard. Karolczak will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Karolczak passes to full mount! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Makosi Karolczak dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Nigga punishes Karolczak's body with a nice straight punch. Karolczak circles away from the clinch attempt.
Nigga drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Nigga stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Karolczak swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Karolczak looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Nigga has picked Karolczak up and slammed him! Karolczak can't keep hold of the triangle and Nigga manages to pass to side control! Karolczak misses with an elbow from the bottom. Karolczak misses with a strike from the bottom. Karolczak wants to control but Nigga postures up. Karolczak gets back to half guard. Karolczak gets back to full guard.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Karolczak is trying to keep Nigga in close.
Makosi Karolczak overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Karolczak pushes a forearm under Nigga's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Nigga is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Summerfield lands a nice shot to the body.
Jennings throws a hook but Summerfield blocks it. Jennings walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Summerfield stuffs the takedown attempt from Jennings. Jennings gets slowly back to his feet. Summerfield lands a nice shot to the body.
Summerfield has closed the distance and engaged Jennings in a clinch.
Jennings is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Jennings is trying to drag Summerfield to the mat but Summerfield just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. A right hook to the body lands for Summerfield.

That was a close round but I would say that Bob Summerfield will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Summerfield tries to get out of the position. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Jennings takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Jennings missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Jennings passes the guard and advances to mount! Summerfield tries to hold on but Jennings pushes him away. Jennings working Summerfield over with strikes here. Jennings punching from mount but Summerfield doing a good job of avoiding damage.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. A nice elbow there by Jennings. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jennings lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Summerfield hang on?
