Krupnik rushes Davis and presses him up against the cage.
Krupnik wants a takedown but no success here.
Krupnik can't get the takedown.
Davis misses with a short punch on the inside.
Davis tries to break free but Krupnik pushes him back against the cage.
Davis has a couple of punches blocked by Krupnik.
Davis lands a right hand.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Davis.

Krupnik breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Davis goes for a small jab and connects. Now Davis goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Krupnik stumbles back but Davis runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Krupnik to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Krupnik will ever be the same after a knockout like that.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takayoshi is looking to chop away at Cold's legs.
Takayoshi throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cold's waist but Cold gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Takayoshi off to one side.
Cold swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Cold misses with an uppercut. Takayoshi saw that one coming.
Cold smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Cold lands a left and a right that send Takayoshi crashing to the mat, dazed. Cold thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Kido Takayoshi has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Takayoshi moves into the clinch.
Takayoshi is still on wobbly legs! Can Cold finish him?
Takayoshi is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Cold pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Cold tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

A frustrated look appears on Takayoshi's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Takayoshi changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Cold fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Rob Cold has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kido Takayoshi.

No joy there for Cold, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Cold throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Takayoshi gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Oooooh!!! Cold has knocked Takayoshi down with a huge combo! Cold steps away and waves a wobbly Takayoshi back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cold drops Takayoshi with a big left hand! Takayoshi is injured, injured bad! Cold jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!

Chalas takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Dan Hellio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hellio tries for a takedown but Chalas circles away easily

Chalas ducks under a wild hook from Hellio.

Chalas moves into range and clinches up with Hellio.
Chalas misses with a hook to the ribs.
Chalas jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hellio walks away with a smile on his face. Chalas gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Hellio closes the distance and clinches up with Chalas, looking for a takedown. Hellio pushes Chalas against the cage but Chalas circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
