The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
The crowd cheers as Silva lands an impressive looking overhand right. Enis doesn't seem phased though.

Silva shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Enis is trying to defend but Silva finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Silva is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Enis blocking the ground and pound attempt from Silva.
Silva thows a huge punch but Enis dodges it nicely.

Silva postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Enis to stand up.

Silva drops down looking for an ankle pick but Enis pulls his leg out and moves away.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Enis shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

and Silva counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Enis is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Enis's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Silva connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Enis scrambles back to his feet.

Enis jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Silva walks away with a smile on his face. Enis gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Enis isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Silva stacks Enis on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Silva!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva wants to lay and pray for a moment but Enis keeps working.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Enis sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Silva looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Silva turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Silva feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Enis is looking to sinch up a triangle. Silva throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Enis's body to avoid the submission. Enis has instead reached around Silva's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Enis arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
