That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Cloud Strife.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but D might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Carlitos has got the better of the exchanges.

Jaa knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Scally on the ground.
Jaa can't keep his opponent in guard - Scally advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Scally is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Jaa!

Scally working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Jaa looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Scally! Submission of the night perhaps?

MacRally takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Good exchange - Christian coming out on top.

Christian throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh MacRally colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Christian as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and MacRally is left battered and dazed whilst Christian and his camp cheer!

Jack Christian tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.

Spartan throws a hook to the side of Davis's head but Davis sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Davis looks to land a body kick but Spartan moved away.
Davis shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Davis moves forwards but Spartan connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Spartan connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Davis tumbling to the canvas! Spartan pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Davis was done - good stoppage!

Matt Spartan decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
