0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ant Liebermann! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Radbod Blank and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Liebermann drives through and clinches with Wawrinka against the cage.
Wawrinka is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Liebermann jumps into guard, dragging Wawrinka to the mat.
Liebermann has Wawrinka pulled in close to control his posture. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wawrinka with a flurry of punches that miss. Wawrinka postures up.
Wawrinka slips nicely into half guard. Wawrinka throwing shots but Liebermann is blocking nicely. Liebermann tries to roll over but Wawrinka keeps him under control. Wawrinka is trying to control. Liebermann wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Wawrinka sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Liebermann defending well though. Liebermann is not content to let Wawrinka control the position. Wawrinka seems to be looking for submissions.

Wawrinka is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Liebermann doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Wawrinka. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Wawrinka works his way back into a safe position though. Wawrinka is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Wawrinka trying to control but Liebermann is working from the bottom. Liebermann trying to control the position.
Wawrinka stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Liebermann swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Liebermann keeping moving, preventing Wawrinka from controlling successfully. Wawrinka throws a big right hand that misses. Wawrinka missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Wawrinka wants to control from the top but Liebermann keeps moving. Wawrinka got a little sloppy there for a moment and Liebermann has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Wawrinka has managed to get both his arms back between Liebermann's legs - danger averted. Liebermann controls Wawrinka momentarily but Wawrinka frees himself. Wawrinka avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Wawrinka is working for a submission of some sort.

Wawrinka is trying to control the action in half guard but Liebermann is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Liebermann jumps into side control!

He's almost out here... but no, Liebermann gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Wawrinka is trying to get back to half guard. Wawrinka is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Liebermann off and has taken his back! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wawrinka looking for the choke but no joy. Wawrinka missing with punches from the back. Liebermann is in a bad position with Wawrinka working for a choke. Liebermann manages to spin nicely into guard and the danger is over for the moment.

Liebermann must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Liebermann trying to control but Wawrinka is working from the bottom. Wawrinka looking to hit a scissor sweep but Liebermann is one step ahead there. Liebermann sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Wawrinka's guard.

Liebermann content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Wawrinka kicks Liebermann off and gets back to his feet. Liebermann shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Wawrinka wants to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Liebermann looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
James Wawrinka overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Wawrinka tries to get to full guard but Liebermann has control of the leg. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Ant Liebermann will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cruz throws a leg kick and Master counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Master. Cruz is trying to maintain a safe position but Master gets an underhook and turns Cruz into the cage. Cruz stalling in the clinch.

Master has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. A short right from Master on the inside. Master pulls guard successfully.
Cruz has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Cruz pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Master is keeping the position for now. Cruz pushing down on Master's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Cruz in particular looking to stall. Master wants to improve his position but Cruz is controlling well.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Cruz turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Master shoots in but no luck this time. Phil Cruz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Royce Master. A clash of legs there as Master blocks the low kick. Master shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

and Master counters with a stiff right hand. Cruz lands a nice leg kick that just misses Master's sensitive parts. Master looks winded! Master takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Cruz feints and then cracks Master's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Master down. This has been an exciting period of action! Cruz throws a leg kick that misses. Master fails with a takedown attempt. Some bone on bone action there as Master checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Cruz throws a leg kick but Master checks it. Cruz is looking to land body kicks. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cruz misses with the body kick and Master counters with a series of strikes. Cruz will be more careful next time no doubt. Royce Master is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A low kick from Cruz is predictable there and Master makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Master looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Cruz is fending him off so far but Master persists. Nope, Cruz circles away and we're back to standing. Master misses with a takedown attempt - Cruz sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Master is breathing heavily. Cruz throws a head kick that Master semi-blocks.
That's one minute gone in the round. Master avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Cruz throws a solid leg kick but Master takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Cruz. Cruz throws a leg kick that is checked and Master counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Cruz throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Cruz fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Master. Cruz sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Master to the ground! Cruz dives into full mount looking to finish! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Cruz controlling the pace for now. Cruz has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

A lazy body kick attempt from Cruz. Master avoids a low kick by using good footwork. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Master checks a leg kick. Master blocks a leg kick. Master avoids the head kick by Cruz.

Podgaetschii really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Van Deinsen trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Podgaetschii manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Podgaetschii is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Van Deinsen had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Podgaetschii defends it easily. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Van Deinsen is on top in guard.

Van Deinsen is pushing down on Podgaetschii's leg trying to pass to half guard. Podgaetschii is fighting to maintain full guard but Van Deinsen has managed to sneak the leg through.

Podgaetschii is controlling Van Deinsen's trapped leg to prevent Van Deinsen from advancing to side control.
