Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Cena (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Diaz might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Calvin Harris - Feel So Close (Nero Remix). Cena is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Booty Work. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cena tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Diaz manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Diaz will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Cena keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Diaz shoots in for a takedown but Cena shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dick Diaz. That's going to take a lot out of him. Diaz shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Cena defends it nicely. Cena stuns Diaz with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Horrible takedown by Cena or perhaps it was just good defense by Diaz which made him look bad. Diaz shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Cena counters with an outside leg kick.

Diaz bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Cena is pushing Diaz's head away, looking to escape. Diaz manages to hold on to the position though. Diaz remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Cena tries to buck Diaz off but Diaz is having none of it. Cena misses with an elbow from the bottom. Cena tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Diaz wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Cena takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Cena is trying to control Diaz's posture but Diaz avoids it.

OK we're going to have a standup here. John Cena hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Diaz shoots for a double leg takedown but Cena sprawls well. He's pushed Diaz's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. A combination from Cena does no damage. Diaz throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cena's waist but Cena gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Diaz off to one side. Horrible takedown by Diaz or perhaps it was just good defense by Cena which made him look bad. Diaz fails with a takedown attempt. Cena looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Diaz shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Cena pinned against the cage. Cena gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Diaz shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Cena counters with a shoot takedown. Diaz fights it but they end up in guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Cena tries to free his leg and advance position but Diaz is retaining full guard. Dick Diaz is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Cena trying to control but Diaz is working from the bottom.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. John Cena wasn't active enough on the ground. Cena tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. John Cena has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. A shot to the body from Cena misses and Diaz decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Cena's guard.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Dick Diaz. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Diaz, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Po throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Po connects with a leg kick. Chantry looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. A right-left combo lands from Po. A swing and a miss from Po. Horrible takedown by Chantry or perhaps it was just good defense by Po which made him look bad. Po jabs Chantry right on the nose. Chantry blinks but takes it well. Chantry looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Po is fending him off so far but Chantry persists. Nope, Po circles away and we're back to standing. Chantry shoots in for a double leg but Po sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Roand Po has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tatton Chantry. Chantry throws a shot from downtown. Po moves away and avoids it. Chantry slips under a jab from Po. Po throws a jab when Chantry was well out of range. Po tries a head kick but it misses.

Po wants to stand up but Chantry is controlling him. Po working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Chantry. Chantry wants to control from the top but Po keeps moving. Chantry chips away with some ground and pound. Po has his hands on Chantry's head, controlling the position. This has been an exciting period of action! Po wants to sweep here but Chantry controlling him for the moment. Chantry prevents Po from getting back to his feet. Chantry has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Chantry landing some decent shots from guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chantry throws a strike but Po rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Chantry is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Po defends well. Po looking to pass the guard. Chantry tries to land a sweep but no joy. Po trying to control the position from guard on top but Chantry is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Chantry has a closed guard, preventing Po from standing up. Chantry had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Po defends it easily.

Po shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Chantry has a takedown stuffed. No luck for Chantry with that takedown attempt. Po lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
It looks like Tatton Chantry has been cut. Chantry is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Roand Po is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Chantry fails miserably with a takedown attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Roand Po will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Tatton Chantry's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Po shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Chantry with a poor takedown and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Chantry shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Po but Po pushes him off and we're back to square one. Po will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Po looks to land a right hand but Chantry moved out of range. Chantry closes the distance but Po moves to the side and Po counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Chantry showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Po.

and Chantry counters with a takedown into side control. Chantry lands some shots froms side control. Chantry trying to control the action but Po is working from the bottom. Chantry fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Chantry tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Po regains half guard. Po wants to control but Chantry is keeping busy.

Chantry is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Chantry is looking to take a break and control but Po is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Po wants to control but Chantry is keeping busy.
Chantry drops an elbow to the side of Po's head. Chantry scoring with strikes to the body and head. Po is refusing to be controlled, as Chantry sits in half guard. Chantry works his foot free and advances to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Po is looking to improve his position but Chantry isn't that keen on the idea. Chantry postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Po looks a forlorn figure.

Po is rocked! Chantry looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Po covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Rackham can do anything to dispel that myth. Rackham wants to control but Torres is keeping busy and won't allow it. Torres missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Torres perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Torres working Rackham over with strikes. Torres not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Torres throwing shots but Rackham is blocking nicely. Rackham really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Torres. Rackham lands a damaging elbow. Rackham pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Rackham misses with a knee strike.

Rackham tries to land knees in the clinch but Torres avoids the damage to the body. Rackham is looking to control Torres's arms but Torres gets an underhook and turns him. Now Rackham has his back to the cage. Rackham is stalling here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ishida takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Yauch lands with a hook. Ishida tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Yauch lands with a cross. Ishida on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Ishida doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Ishida is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Ishida dives in and grabs Yauch's left leg, looking for a takedown. Yauch pushes down on Ishida's head and hops out. Danga de danga de dang - Yauch scores with a four punch combination! Ishida takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Ishida with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Yauch to score with a decent uppercut.
