The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sotrokipolis clinches. Sotrokipolis is trying to push Sarpong away but Sarpong has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Sotrokipolis pulls guard effortlessly. Sotrokipolis wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Sotrokipolis looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sarpong is one step ahead there. Sotrokipolis bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Sarpong's guard. Sotrokipolis decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Sotrokipolis cracks Sarpong with an uppercut from hell and Sarpong crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Sotrokipolis's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
It looks like Jeffrey Sarpong has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sotrokipolis got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sarpong has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sotrokipolis has managed to get both his arms back between Sarpong's legs - danger averted. Sotrokipolis gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Sotrokipolis throws a series of punches but Sarpong avoids them all with ease. A decent looking cross lands there for Sotrokipolis. Sotrokipolis throws a right and a left that Sarpong avoids nicely. Sotrokipolis throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Sotrokipolis shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sarpong as he jumps to the side. Sarpong misses the shot to the body. Sotrokipolis is trying hard to land a takedown here. Sarpong sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Sotrokipolis throws a sloppy head kick and Sarpong moves out of range easily. Sotrokipolis is breathing heavily. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Sarpong, as that shot connected.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sarpong throws a right hand that Sotrokipolis ducks under and follows up with a left that Sotrokipolis also avoids with ease. Sotrokipolis throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sarpong swings and misses with a shot to the body and Sotrokipolis counters with a single leg into guard. Sarpong didn't expect that. Sotrokipolis won't allow Sarpong to sweep him here. Sotrokipolis throws an elbow that misses. Sarpong uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Sotrokipolis's guard. Nice move by Sarpong! Sarpong won't allow Sotrokipolis to get back to his feet. Sarpong tries to stand but Sotrokipolis is controlling from the bottom. Sarpong stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sotrokipolis swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sarpong is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Sarpong trying to control the position from guard on top but Sotrokipolis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Sotrokipolis tries to land a sweep but no joy. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sarpong trying to control but Sotrokipolis is working from the bottom.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jeffrey Sarpong wasn't active enough on the ground. Sotrokipolis rushes Sarpong and presses him up against the cage. Sotrokipolis looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Sarpong has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Sotrokipolis has had enough of the clinch but Sarpong keeps him there for the moment.

He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Sarpong tries a head kick but it misses.

Sarpong tries to avoid it but Sotrokipolis manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sarpong to the ground. Sarpong escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. He's almost out here... but no, Sotrokipolis gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Sarpong is being controlled here. Sotrokipolis decides to stand back up. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sotrokipolis closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Sarpong quickly recovers to half guard. Sarpong tries to roll over but Sotrokipolis keeps him under control. Sotrokipolis is thwarting Sarpong's attempts to control the position. That's four minutes gone in the round. Sarpong avoids a strike by Sotrokipolis and manages to complete a very nice reversal in the process, to end up in Sotrokipolis's guard! Fantastic escape!
Sotrokipolis kicks Sarpong off and gets to his feet. Sarpong stuffs the takedown. Sarpong pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Sotrokipolis back to the cage. Sarpong follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Sarpong throws a right and a left that both miss. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sotrokipolis forces Sarpong back against the cage and clinches. Sotrokipolis has picked Sarpong up - he's going for a ride! Sotrokipolis dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Jake Sotrokipolis is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sotrokipolis frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
And that's the end of the fight! Jake Sotrokipolis showed his dominance in that final round. Well Sotrokipolis has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Van Damme throws a nice looking combination but Vouoku bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Vouoku with a lazy takedown attempt and Van Damme counters with a crisp one two that drops Vouoku! Van Damme thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Vouoku to his feet! Vouoku is in big trouble!
Vouoku is rocked! Van Damme knocks out Vouoku with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Van Damme before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Van Damme picks up the big W with a huge KO!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hart stuffs the takedown attempt from Bondevik. Bondevik gets slowly back to his feet. Jab by Hart. Hart misses with a left hand and Bondevik counters with a combination of strikes to the head and body that crumple Hart!
Hart is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hart trying to hold on to Bondevik's head to control him but Bondevik postures up.
Hart is looking to get back to full guard here but Bondevik has managed to pass to side control instead. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hart is trying to get back to half guard. Bondevik is looking to take a break and control but Hart is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Hart is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Bondevik working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Bondevik wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hart, who protects the arm well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hart is looking for a sweep. Bondevik taking a breather here. Bondevik wants to control but Hart is keeping him busy. Hart is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Bondevik is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Bondevik jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Hart manages to avoid the submission attempt. Hart is looking to get back to his feet here but Bondevik is keeping cool and he's managed to take Hart's back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bondevik is looking to control Hart but Hart is wriggling around and keeping busy. Bondevik is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Hart is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Hart is trying to stand back up. Hart is trying to escape but he's just digging himself into more trouble. Bondevik manages to sink in the hooks and gets a rear naked choke to end the fight in impressive fashion.
