1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jason Arona! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Russell Pearce and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Arona misses with a wild combination.
Arona looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Arona tries for a takedown but Zerra sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Zerra looks for a takedown but Arona sprawls well. Zerra shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Arona eats them both and turns towards Zerra to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Zerra lands with a good body shot. Zerra connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Nice uppercut lands for Zerra. That snapped Arona's head back.
Zerra cracks Arona with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Arona is rocked! Jason Arona seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. This has been an exciting period of action! Zerra slips under a jab. Arona is still on wobbly legs! Can Zerra finish him? Nice defenses there by Arona. Zerra bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Arona's head backwards. Arona stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Arona wants it to stay on the feet. Zerra is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Arona's half guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Jackson lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Ramanujam has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Ramanujam and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. A telegraphed right hand from Ramanujam misses the target. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jackson swings for the body but Ramanujam moves out of range.

and Jackson finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Ramanujam throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Ramanujam pushing out the jab but it's not landing. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jackson ducks under a wild hook from Ramanujam. Jackson misses with a looping right. Ramanujam will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Teddy Jackson will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Mahavir Ramanujam's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

He's now in the guard on the top. Ramanujam looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Jackson forces his way into half guard. Jackson prevents Ramanujam from improving his position. Jackson wants to pass the guard but Ramanujam is defending well.

Ooooh, that looks tight… Jackson is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Jackson and Ramanujam has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Check out the look on Ramanujam's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bellanca throws a hook but Coleman blocks it. Bellanca tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Coleman was well out of range. Poor timing from Bellanca. Bellanca rushes Coleman and presses him up against the cage. A head punch on the inside from Bellanca fails to land. Bellanca prevents the takedown attempt.
Coleman tries to pull guard but Bellanca won't allow it.
Bellanca's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Bellanca lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Coleman backwards. Coleman has picked Bellanca up - he's going for a ride! Coleman dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Bellanca looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Coleman prevents Bellanca from improving his position. Bellanca is looking to control Coleman's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bellanca avoid being mounted? Coleman wants to take a breather but Bellanca is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coleman winds up and cracks Bellanca with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Bellanca gets full guard. Coleman lands a couple of digs. Bellanca working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Coleman doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Bellanca is tightening it up a little... Coleman has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Coleman reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Coleman taps out! Nice BJJ there by Bellanca!
