The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ryback swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ryback looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Master scores with a jab to the head.
It looks like Feed Me Ryback has been cut. Master closes the distance and pushes Ryback back into the cage. Master lands a nice uppercut. A left hand lands to the body for Master.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Angin shoots in and drives through. Obruchev sprawls well. Angin shoots in but no luck this time. Obruchev displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Angin. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Neo Angin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Angin throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Angin moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Obruchev keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Obruchev with a hook. Angin tries to move into range but Obruchev moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Angin needs to keep his hands up - Obruchev had a free shot at his head there. Angin shoots for a double leg takedown but Obruchev sprawls well. He's pushed Angin's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Nikolay Obruchev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Obruchev moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Malaki connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Sell takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Malaki will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sell takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Malaki staying out of range there. Malaki showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Sell.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sloppy strikes from Sell. Those never looked like landing. Malaki lands a jab to Sell's midsection. Malaki cracks Sell with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Malaki has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Sell to stand back up!

It looks like George Sell has been cut. Malaki displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sell throws out the jab. Oh Sell is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Sell tries to clinch up but Malaki circles away and keeps his distance. Sell leaves his chin hanging out and Malaki seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Sell crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Yancy Malaki! Yancy Malaki really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that KAISER logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.

Metzger closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Gloin tries to buck Metzger off but Metzger is having none of it. Gloin is pushing Metzger's head away, looking to escape. Metzger manages to hold on to the position though. Metzger has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Metzger tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Metzger throws a series of punches but Gloin moves out of range. Gloin throws a right and a left that both miss. The fight moves into the clinch position. Gloin fails to pull guard.

Metzger is trying to control the action in half guard but Gloin is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Metzger seems to be looking for submissions.
The fighters are battling for position here. Gloin manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Gloin has his foot on Metzger's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Metzger works his way back into a safe position though. Metzger pushes down on Gloin's leg and manages to get into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Metzger missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Gloin actively working from the bottom here. Metzger scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Gloin is looking to escape. Gloin is trying to get back to full guard. Metzger is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
