The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Menezes looks for a takedown but Leonardo sprawls well. Menezes gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Leonardo gets to his feet. Menezes looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Menezes doesn't succeed with the takedown and Leonardo counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Leonardo. Leonardo stands up and waves to Menezes to follow him. Johnson ducked under it nicely. Bourque ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Johnson moves away. Bourque moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. A slapping body kick lands there for Johnson.
