The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hamilton drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Hamilton looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Grayhawk is avoiding damage well.
Hamilton working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Trevis pulls guard effortlessly. Trevis is trying to control the position but Sawyer postures up. Sawyer is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Sawyer throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Trevis works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Trevis is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Sawyer can't control as he wanted to and Trevis manages to get the fight back to his half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Trevis preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Trevis wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Sawyer, who protects the arm well. Sawyer tries to buck Trevis off but Trevis is having none of it. It looks like Kenny Dogherty has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Wilkens tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Wilkens could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Wilkens working Dogherty over with strikes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steedman closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Green to the mat! Green manages to get full guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Steedman wants to pass the guard but Green is keeping the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Steedman passes Green's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Steedman is trying to work for a kimura but Green is defending well.
Green knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Steedman on the ground. Steedman is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Green doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Steedman. Steedman is trying for a kimura here. Green looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Steedman wins by kimura!
