Molesworth throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Elder was covering up waiting for the punch and Molesworth finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Molesworth wants to stand but Elder has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Xander Elder seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That has opened up Kirby Molesworth's cut even more.

Elder creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Molesworth's defenses.

The cut above Kirby Molesworth's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Elder throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Molesworth misses with a punch on the inside.
Molesworth wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Elder lands a damaging elbow.
Molesworth takes an elbow to the temple.

Kirby Molesworth's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Kirby Molesworth's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Manny Simmons.

Cain is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Cake defends well.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Cain has his feet on Cake's thighs here. He's pushed Cake off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Cake screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

In his post fight interview, Emerson Cain gave a big smile as he said 'What is there to say, Orgs come and go champions are supposed to lose thier titles not have them just go away. That was a close second round but I would say that Matthew George will probably get the nod.
