The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ming fails in his attempt to clinch. Ming tries to clinch up. Nigga has closed the distance and engaged Ming in a clinch.
Nigga is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. A hook to the body from Nigga.
Ming's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Ming misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Nigga.
Nigga jumps guard.
Nigga has Ming pulled in close to control his posture. Ming is posturing up here but Nigga has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Ming tries to roll out but it's too tight and Ming has to tap! Slick submission there by Nigga!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Straps shoots in for a takedown but Summerfield shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. A head kick from Summerfield lands but Straps takes it in his stride. Summerfield scores with a jab. Straps acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Bob Summerfield seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Summerfield keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Summerfield is looking to slow Straps down with leg kicks. A slapping leg kick lands for Summerfield.
Straps misses with a takedown attempt - Summerfield sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Bob Summerfield has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Perry Straps. Summerfield instigates a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Summerfield pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Nice sprawl there from Summerfield as Straps shoots in. A head kick misses from Summerfield. Summerfield moves into range and clinches up with Straps. Straps wants a takedown but no success here.
Straps is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Summerfield gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Straps has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Summerfield is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Straps fails to pull guard.
Straps is working for takedown but Summerfield is calmly controlling the position for now. Summerfield lands a body shot in the clinch.
Straps looks winded! Summerfield breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Summerfield throws a quick inside leg kick. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Summerfield lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

It looks like Perry Straps has been cut. Nice elbow from Summerfield. Summerfield's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Summerfield cracks a nice hook into Straps's ribs. Summerfield throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Summerfield works Straps's body with a nice hook. Nice jab there from Summerfield.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Summerfield drives through and clinches with Straps against the cage.

Summerfield throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Strapss head. Summerfield throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. A right hand to the body from Summerfield.
Summerfield pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Summerfield closes the distance and clinches. Summerfield using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.

Summerfield lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
A head kick by Summerfield - that's a beauty! Straps is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Summerfield can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Bob Summerfield! A relieved looking Bob Summerfield thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Jacobs. Jacobs misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Hard is looking to regain half guard here but Jacobs keeps moving and retains side control. Jacobs thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Jacobs throwing shots but missing, from side control. Jacobs tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Jacobs has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Jacobs misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Hard being controlled for a moment. Jacobs has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Jacobs in side control lands a decent elbow.

Jacobs gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Hard is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Jacobs lets go of the hold and Hard can pop his arm back in it's socket.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Karolczak closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jennings circles away. Jennings closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Karolczak did well to prevent Jennings getting side control. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Jennings lands a nice short elbow. Karolczak has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Jennings is working away from the top position though. Jennings is looking to take a break and control but Karolczak is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Karolczak throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Jennings looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Karolczak with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Jennings wants to lay and pray for a moment but Karolczak keeps working. Jennings lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Jennings really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Karolczak. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Karolczak is trying to control but can't.
Jennings is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Jennings blocks the strikes from Karolczak.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jennings prevents Karolczak from standing back up.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Karolczak is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
