The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Klinch moves into the clinch successfully.
Klinch misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Bastard.
Bastard pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Klinch avoids the elbow strike from Bastard, against the cage.

Bastard tries to pull guard but Klinch won't allow it.
Bastard pushes off an throws an elbow but Klinch leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Bastard tries to stall but Klinch uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Klinch creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Bastard looking to stall.
Klinch will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Bastard up against the cage. Klinch gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Bastard has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Klinch uses from the top position. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Bastard is looking to sinch up a triangle. Klinch throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Bastard's body to avoid the submission. Bastard has instead reached around Klinch's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Bastard arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Henry Loiseau! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paulsen Ambrosius and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Loiseau throws a low kick but it's checked well by Stroganovic. Stroganovic tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Loiseau fails miserably with a takedown attempt. A big left from Stroganovic misses. Loiseau shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Stroganovic as he avoids it easily. Stroganovic takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Loiseau has taken the fight to the clinch.
Loiseau creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Stroganovic's defenses. Loiseau lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
It looks like Igor Stroganovic has been cut. Stroganovic is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Loiseau lands a good knee to the midsection. Stroganovic won't want to take too many of those. Stroganovic is looking to break free of the clinch but Loiseau has double underhooks. Loiseau lands a nice elbow. Stroganovic can't break the clinch.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Loiseau keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Stroganovic's efforts to push away. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Stroganovic with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Stroganovic is defending against the submission attempts here by Loiseau.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hellio takes a swing at Chandler's ribcage but misses. Hellio scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Hellio takes one on the button. A big right from Chandler misses. Chandler misses with a two punch combination.
Hellio uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Chandler. Chandler closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hellio did well to prevent Chandler getting side control. Hellio looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Hellio actively working from the bottom here. Chandler wants to pass to mount but Hellio is defending the position. Chandler performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Hellio is trying to get back to full guard.

Chandler stuns Hellio with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Hellio moves away from the strike by Chandler. Hellio bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Chandler shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Hellio is trying to defend but Chandler finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Chandler is taking a breather. Hellio says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Chandler looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of James Chandler. The fighters circling - Chandler throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Chandler connects with a single shot there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Chandler seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Hellio for as long as he can get away with.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Povidlo shoots in and bounces Cardozo off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Cardozo lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Povidlo! Povidlo working to try and regain half guard.
Povidlo is squirming around, avoiding Cardozo's attempts to control the action. Cardozo goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Povidlo turns into him and now he's in Cardozo's guard.

He has one arm under the chin but Cardozo has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Povidlo not allowing Cardozo to control his hands. A jab from Solonik finds it's way through Wilson's defenses. A combination from Wilson does no damage. Solonik closes the distance looking to clinch and Wilson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Wilson looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Solonik explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Wilson avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Solonik thows a body kick. Wilson tries to catch it but that hurt him. Wilson catches Solonik napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Solonik to the canvas!

Tarzan shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Mathieux counters with a straight right hand. A nice leg kick lands there from Mathieux. Lithe Tarzan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tarzan takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Tarzan moves out of range of the leg kick from Mathieux. Tarzan with a poor takedown and Mathieux counters with a head kick. Tarzan tries for a takedown but Mathieux circles away easily and Mathieux counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lithe Tarzan. That's going to take a lot out of him. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mathieux lands with a nice combination. Tarzan backs away looking to recover.
It looks like Lithe Tarzan has been cut. Mathieux connects with a right hand. Tarzan shakes it off. Tarzan takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Tarzan shoots in but doesn't get the takedown letting Mathieux counter with a right hand. Mathieux throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tarzan takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

He tries to recover but Mathieux pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Tarzan is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Smith is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Stan pulls his head out easily. Stan not landing any meaningful shots this time. Stan thows a huge punch but Smith dodges it nicely.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie closes the distance looking to clinch and Kwidama counters with a right hand to the body. Gracie shoots in for a takedown but Kwidama shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Kwidama throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Kwidama wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Kwidama lands a right hook to the body.

Kwidama dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Gracie takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Kwidama fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Gracie. Kwidama connects with a high kick.
It looks like Xavier Gracie has been cut. Gracie takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Kwidama with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

That's one minute gone in the round. Kwidama lands a big head kick that sends Gracie tumbling to the mat! Kwidama takes a step backwards and waves Gracie back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Gracie is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Gracie drops his hands for a split second and Kwidama immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Gracie face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Kwidama follows up with a right hand that knocks Gracie into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Chaly Kwidama! Chaly Kwidama retains his middleweight title! Chaly Kwidama really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Ganja's Warehouse (95% Laundering) logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
