The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gatti slaps away a takedown attempt from Silva, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Silva looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

and Gatti counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Gatti.

Soto takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Soto is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Silva has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Soto is looking to defend but Silva has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Soto! Silva pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Soto taps out and this one is all over!

Klepaczka shoots in but Pepey avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Pepey's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Pepey duly obliges.

It looks like Arkadiusz Klepaczka has been cut.
Klepaczka has a takedown stuffed.
Klepaczka fails with a takedown attempt.
Mikki Pepey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Arkadiusz Klepaczka.

Pepey feints and as Klepaczka raises his hands in defense, Pepey changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Klepaczka controls Pepey momentarily but Pepey frees himself.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pepey advances position into side control!
Klepaczka prevents Pepey from improving position.
Klepaczka sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Pepey is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Pepey has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Klepaczka defend it? Pepey steps over the head and cranks it - Klepaczka is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Pepey!

Braddock connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Dos Santos's hands.

It looks like Junior Dos Santos has been cut.
Dos Santos will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Braddock throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Braddock fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Dos Santos shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Braddock as he avoids it easily.
James Braddock has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Junior Dos Santos.
Horrible takedown by Braddock or perhaps it was just good defense by Dos Santos which made him look bad.

Braddock is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Dos Santos like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Dos Santos from another fist facial!

James Braddock decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
