The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kruger shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Ax shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Ax missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Ax looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kruger with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ax is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kruger doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ax.
Ax throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

We're going to have a standup here because Jesse Kruger wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Ax takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Ax feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Kruger lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Ax!

and Griffin counters with a huge left! Smegma Iii is in big trouble! He's backing up but Griffin isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Smegma Iii from any more damage. A dominating finish by Griffin!
