0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Frankie Edgar! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Damien Edna and Donatello Bradman.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wilson is looking to clinch but Edgar is avoiding it.
Edgar avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Wilson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Edgar. Wilson tries to clinch but Edgar moves out of range. Edgar shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Wilson sprawls well. Wilson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Edgar gets slowly back to his feet. Nice takedown defense from Wilson. No joy for Edgar on that attempt. Mark Wilson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frankie Edgar.
Wilson drives through and clinches with Edgar against the cage.
Wilson tries to land knees in the clinch but Edgar avoids the damage to the body. Edgar avoiding damage as Wilson throws knees to the body.

Wilson throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Edgar blocks it with crossed arms. Wilson really is a fat lump. Edgar drops down looking for an ankle pick but Wilson pulls his leg out and moves away.

so Edgar counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Wilson looking for a sweep. Not yet Wilson, not yet. Edgar throwing strikes from guard but Wilson blocks nicely.
Edgar drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Wilson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Edgar has Wilson in his guard.
Edgar has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Wilson should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Edgar has tightened it up now! Wilson should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Waine Bitterhall! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Winston Howard and Steve Erwin.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown by Bitterhall or perhaps it was just good defense by Weidman which made him look bad. Weidman misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bitterhall.
Bitterhall blocks a jab. Bitterhall shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Weidman throws an off balance right hand
and Bitterhall counters with a single leg into guard. Weidman didn't expect that. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Bitterhall has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Weidman is proving hard to escape from. Bitterhall won't allow Weidman to sweep him here. This has been an exciting period of action! Bitterhall stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Weidman swivels though and keeps the full guard. Bitterhall prevents Weidman from getting back to his feet.

 The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Waine Bitterhall.
Bitterhall closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Weidman did well to prevent Bitterhall getting side control. Weidman looks like he's trying to stand up.
Weidman is breathing heavily. Bitterhall is trying to control. Weidman wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Bitterhall is taking a breather. Weidman says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Bitterhall's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

 The ref stands the fighters back up. Waine Bitterhall was stalling too much, according to the referee. Weidman showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Bitterhall.
Bitterhall is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Blake Weidman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Weidman bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The fighters circling - Weidman throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Bitterhall keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Weidman throws a shot from downtown. Bitterhall moves away and avoids it. Weidman misses with a right hand
and Bitterhall counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Bitterhall works his foot free and advances to mount. Bitterhall controlling his opponent.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Weidman is trying desperately to improve position. Bitterhall trying to control but Weidman is having none of it.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Bitterhall looking to control and managing it successfully. Bitterhall thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

A close round but Waine Bitterhall will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Bitterhall manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Weidman on his heels. He'll look to pass Weidman's guard now, I'm sure.
Bitterhall stands up from guard. Let's bang! Bitterhall fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Weidman checks it well.
Weidman darts in and clinches Bitterhall up against the cage. Weidman lands with a right to the head.
Bitterhall pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Nice jab there from Weidman. Weidman throws a shot from downtown. Bitterhall moves away and avoids it. Bitterhall fails with a takedown attempt. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Weidman drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Bitterhall right on the button. Bitterhall goes down! Weidman follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Weidman gets the win via TKO!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ferguson tries to clinch but Fowles is having none of it. Ferguson tries to clinch up but Fowles circles away and keeps his distance. Ferguson doesn't manage to clinch there - Fowles circles away.
Ferguson should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Ferguson wants to clinch up but Fowles keeps it at a distance. Fowles is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ferguson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Fowles shoots in for a takedown but Ferguson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Fowles bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Fowles working the ground and pound. Fowles throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Ferguson looks winded! Fowles throwing strikes but missing. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Ferguson has eaten all the pies! Fowles passes into half guard. Fowles landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Fowles seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Fowles missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Fowles throwing shots but Ferguson is blocking nicely. Ferguson blocking the ground and pound attempt from Fowles. Ferguson keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Fowles connects with a nice short shot to Ferguson's temple. Fowles looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
 Ferguson is rocked! Fowles lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Ferguson quite badly. Ferguson pulls Fowles in close trying to recover. Fowles postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Ferguson on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Ferguson doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Soto Major will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Bourne shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Soto Major but Soto Major pushes him off and we're back to square one. Alex Soto Major has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billie Bourne. Soto Major stuffs the takedown. Ivanov shoots in and gets a takedown into Ross's guard. Ivanov sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Ross's guard. Ivanov wants to free his trapped foot but Ross is holding on for dear life with his legs.
