Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jack Stirling! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Brett Butterfly! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Hirohito Nitta and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stirling throws a right hand that misses
and Butterfly counters with a solid body kick. Butterfly blocks a head kick by Stirling.
Butterfly lands a leg kick that knocks Stirling off balance momentarily. Stirling looks to throw the jab but Butterfly is out of range. Stirling throws a series of punches but Butterfly avoids them all with ease. Stirling avoids the body shot from Butterfly.
Stirling attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Good work by Butterfly as he checks the leg kick. Stirling on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Butterfly doesn't manage to clinch there - Stirling circles away.

Butterfly lands a nice forearm strike. Butterfly misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. The ground and pound from Butterfly seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Butterfly sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Stirling is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
