0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Gawain Lot! The judges for this bout are Josh West, Micheangelo Fripello and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lot throws a hook to the side of Futadores's head but Futadores sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Futadores uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lot.
Lot is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Futadores's half guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Lot throwing shots but Futadores is blocking nicely. Lot sitting and controlling from the half guard. Lot looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Lot lands a nice short elbow. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Futadores seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Lot has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kinnunen pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Scene fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Scene manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Kinnunen on his heels. He'll look to pass Kinnunen's guard now, I'm sure. Scene stands up over Kinnunen, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Scene drops back looking for a leg! Kinnunen is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kinnunen manages to kick Scene off! Scene jumps back into Kinnunen's guard. Scene stands and steps away. Kinnunen gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Kinnunen throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
It looks like Charlie Scene has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kinnunen. Scene will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Charlie Scene seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Scene dives in and scores a takedown into Kinnunen's guard. Scene working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Scene is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Scene hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Conan uses his free foot to push down on King's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for King. Conan lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
