The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie misses with a takedown

and Refn counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Gracie's guard now.

Refn passes Gracie's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Gracie trying to hold on to Refn's head to control him but Refn postures up.

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hank Blair (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronald Chevalier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blair kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Bullet by Creed. Chevalier has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howard circles away from the clinch attempt.
Howard uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Vahaber.
Vahaber tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Howard paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Vahaber moves forwards but Howard connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Howard throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Vahaber on the side of the head.
Vahaber moves out of range as Howard strikes.
Howard misses with a head kick.
Left hook, right uppercut from Howard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Howard throws a leg kick but Vahaber sees it coming and checks it nicely.
The fight stays on the outside here - Vahaber looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Vahaber misses the shot to the body.
Howard with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Vahaber to score with a decent uppercut.
Vahaber misses with a wild body shot.
Vahaber tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Howard tests Vahaber's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Howard fails to land with a series of punches.
Vahaber drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Vahaber tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Howard was well out of range. Poor timing from Vahaber.

Vahaber is rocked!
Howard is stalking Vahaber. Vahaber circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Howard, and it's lights out! Vahaber really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
