Trout tries to buck Samurai off but Samurai is having none of it.

Samurai wants to control but Trout is keeping him busy.
Samurai scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Trout is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Samurai can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

Carvalho comes to the cage accompanied by limp bizkit - Rollin'. Greydorian comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Korn - Trash kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greydorian stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Greydorian wants it to stay on the feet.
Carvalho takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Carvalho misses with a takedown attempt - Greydorian sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Greydorian thows a body shot but no joy.
Greydorian connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Carvalho's hands.

It looks like Mario Carvalho has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Greydorian misses with a body kick.

Greydorian catches Carvalho napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Carvalho to the canvas!
Greydorian working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Greydorian stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Carvalho throws up his legs and catches Greydorian in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Greydorian tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Carvalho! That came out of nowhere!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Mario Carvalho!
An out of breath Mario Carvalho thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
