The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Radev. No joy for Wayne on that attempt.
Wayne tries for a takedown but Radev circles away easily
and Radev counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Steve Wayne seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Radev scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Wayne looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Radev is fending him off so far but Wayne persists. Nope, Radev circles away and we're back to standing.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Sosa has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Sosa and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Abbott lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and St Pierre has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from St Pierre and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

St Pierre swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Abbott is now in St Pierre's guard. A big mistake from St Pierre there, giving up the dominant position!
Brenden Abbott is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

St Pierre has his foot on Abbott's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Abbott works his way back into a safe position though.

I would just about give that final round to Grease St Pierre.

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Roy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Sunderland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sunderland has chosen Placebo - Running up that hill as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that James Sunderland was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sunderland does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Roy looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Sunderland looks for the body kick but Roy saw that one coming.
Sunderland tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Roy is able to avoid easily.
Roy misses with an uppercut
and Sunderland counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Sunderland explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Sunderland feints and then cracks Roy's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Roy down.
Sunderland leaves Roy with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Roy sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Roy is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sunderland scores with a body shot.
Roy takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Sunderland lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Sunderland turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Sunderland thumps Roy with a low kick.

Sunderland cracks Roy with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Sunderland has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Roy to stand back up!

Roy is rocked!
Sunderland feints a jab and as Roy dips his head, Sunderland unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Roy right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Roy falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Sunderland smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). James Sunderland! James Sunderland retains his middleweight title!
