2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ronnie Mondeux! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ruffo Guttierez! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Skip Squint and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Guttierez rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mondeux moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Mondeux throws a jab when Guttierez was well out of range. Guttierez displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Mondeux throws out the jab. Nice defenses there by Guttierez. Mondeux misses with a hook. Guttierez ducked under it nicely. A punch combination from Guttierez misses. Mondeux throws an overhand right that lands on Guttierez's shoulder, as Guttierez tries to avoid the shot. Guttierez steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mondeux. Guttierez misses with a double jab.

and Guttierez counters with a left and a right that stings Mondeux. Mondeux misses with a straight right. Mondeux throws a poor cross that misses
and Guttierez counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Mondeux uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Guttierez.
Guttierez ducks under a wild hook from Mondeux. Guttierez tries to bum rush Mondeux with a series of wild strikes but Mondeux uses good footwork to avoid the assault. A combination from Guttierez does no damage. Guttierez ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Mondeux takes a body punch but keeps moving. Guttierez swings for the body but Mondeux moves out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round. Guttierez throws a right and a left that Mondeux avoids nicely. Guttierez digs a good body shot into Mondeux's ribs. Guttierez throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Mondeux stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Mondeux is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. A punch combination from Guttierez misses. Guttierez connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Mondeux momentarily.

Guttierez rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mondeux moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Guttierez lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Mondeux at a distance.
A combination from Guttierez does no damage. Mondeux misses with a hook. Guttierez fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Guttierez lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It looks like Ronnie Mondeux has been cut. Guttierez throws a right hand that Mondeux ducks under and follows up with a left that Mondeux also avoids with ease. Nice uppercut lands for Guttierez. That snapped Mondeux's head back.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Guttierez moves out of range of the strikes. Guttierez scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Guttierez misses the shot to the body. Guttierez throws a right and a left that Mondeux avoids nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mondeux slips a straight right by Guttierez. Guttierez throws a hook to the side of Mondeux's head but Mondeux sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Mondeux cracks Guttierez with a good jab. Mondeux misses with a straight right. Guttierez slips a straight right by Mondeux. Mondeux thows a left - swing and a miss! Guttierez tries to bum rush Mondeux with a series of wild strikes but Mondeux uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Guttierez keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Mondeux. Mondeux lands a really nice looking cross but Guttierez seems unphased.
Guttierez scores with a one two! Mondeux had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Mondeux walks into a left hand. Mondeux swings widly with a right hand
and Guttierez counters with a three punch combo that has Mondeux backing up. Mondeux nods at Guttierez to acknowledge the strikes. The fighters circling - Mondeux throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Guttierez throws the left hand but Mondeux avoids the punch easily. Guttierez thows a body shot but no joy. Mondeux looks to land a left hand but Guttierez moved out of range nicely. Guttierez is working the combinations to good effect here. Guttierez bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Ronnie Mondeux seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Guttierez connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Mondeux's hands. Decent striking displayed by Guttierez there. Mondeux throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Mondeux misses with a left hand and Guttierez counters with a series of strikes. Mondeux will be more careful next time no doubt. Mondeux misses with a looping right. Guttierez steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mondeux. Guttierez fails to land with a series of punches.

and Guttierez scores with a counter punch that sends Mondeux to the canvas! Guttierez smells blood - he's punishing Mondeux with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Mondeux has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Damage shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Summers napping and manages to drive through into side control! Damage has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Damage closes this distance looking for a takedown but Summers circles away. Damage shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Summers misses with a two punch combination.
Damage shoots for a takedown but Summers saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brain Damage. That's going to take a lot out of him. Damage checks a leg kick nicely. Damage pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Summers shoots in and bounces Damage off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Summers prevents Damage from getting back to his feet. Summers wants to control from the top but Damage keeps moving. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Summers stopping the sweep attempt from Damage. Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Summers throws a leg kick but Damage sees it coming and moves out of range. Summers pushes down on Damage's head and hops out. Summers looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Damage is fending him off so far but Summers persists. Nope, Damage circles away and we're back to standing. Horrible takedown by Damage or perhaps it was just good defense by Summers which made him look bad. Damage dives in and grabs Summers's left leg, looking for a takedown. Summers pushes down on Damage's head and hops out. Damage blocks a low kick nicely. Damage moves out of range of the leg kick from Summers. Damage fails with the takedown. No luck with that takedown attempt from Damage. Damage is breathing heavily. Damage closes this distance looking for a takedown but Summers circles away. Summers looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Summers thows a huge punch but Damage dodges it nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Summers prevents Damage from improving his position. Summers sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Damage defending well though. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Summers is thwarting Damage's attempts to control the position. Damage is trying to stand.
Summers passes the guard and advances to mount! Summers lands a heavy elbow. Summers putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Damage is in a horrible position here. Summers smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Summers is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Damage is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Damage flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Summers anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Damage and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Summers slips an arm under Damage chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Summers has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Summers is squeezing on Damage like an anaconda would it's prey. Damage fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Mega goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Mei waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Mega. Mega avoids a punch combination nicely.
Mega lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Mei backs up against the cage.
A combination from Mei does no damage. Mei showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Mega.
Mega lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Mega shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mei pinned against the cage. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Mei for as long as he can get away with.
And that's the end of the fight! Max Mega showed his dominance in that final round. Well Mega has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Dibiasse takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Dibiasse shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dempsey as he avoids it easily. Dibiasse closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dempsey circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ted Dibiasse. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dempsey stuffs the takedown. Dempsey gets caught flat footed, as Dibiasse shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Dibiasse trying to move into half guard but instead Dempsey has managed to sweep! OK we're going to have a standup here. Jack Dempsey hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Horrible takedown by Dibiasse or perhaps it was just good defense by Dempsey which made him look bad. Dibiasse closes the distance and clinches up with Dempsey, looking for a takedown. Dibiasse pushes Dempsey against the cage but Dempsey circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Dempsey scores with a crisp jab that stopped Dibiasse in his tracks. Dempsey cracks Dibiasse with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Dibiasse misses with a takedown attempt and Dempsey connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dibiasse misses with a takedown attempt and Dempsey counters with a lovely straight right hand! Dempsey misses with a straight right. Dibiasse tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dempsey sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dibiasse somewhat. Dempsey thuds a left hand into Dibiasse's body. Dibiasse is breathing heavily. Dibiasse fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Dempsey displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Dibiasse. Dibiasse shoots and misses and Dempsey counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Dempsey will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Dibiasse looks OK. Dempsey waves Dibiasse back to his feet!
Dibiasse is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Dibiasse has his takedown stuffed and Dempsey counters with a big left hand that crumples Dibiasse! He was out before he hit the floor! Brutal knockout!

Suchart Chaowanungkarn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Smith tries to clinch up. Smith needs to keep his hands up - Chaowanungkarn had a free shot at his head there. Chaowanungkarn lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Chaowanungkarn throws a leg kick but Smith sees it coming and checks it nicely. Smith steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Chaowanungkarn. Smith uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Chaowanungkarn. Chaowanungkarn lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Smith checks a low kick from Chaowanungkarn. Smith tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Chaowanungkarn manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Chaowanungkarn avoids the head kick by Smith.
