Carter kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Kasabian - Club Foot. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Laurent misses with a looping right. Laurent moves out of range of the body kick. Laurent looks to score with a jab to the body but Carter is just out of range. A swing and a miss from Laurent. Carter misses with an attempted mid kick.
Laurent closes the distance and lands a one-two. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Carter.
Laurent scores with a one two! Carter had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. A solid leg kick lands there for Carter.
Laurent throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Carter on the side of the head. Laurent takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Laurent is looking to clinch. Laurent lands a lovely overhand right. Carter moves out of range of the body kick from Laurent.

Laurent comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Carter feints and then cracks Laurent's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Laurent down. A slow jab from Laurent misses its intended target. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Carter keeps the fight on the outside. Carter throws a push kick but Laurent slaps the foot to one side. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Carter.
Carter throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Carter closes the distance and clinches. Laurent is trying to break the clinch but Carter has him pressed against the cage.

Carter's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Carter lands an elbow that stopped Laurent in his tracks for a moment. Laurent fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Orlandinovic cracks Kolobnev with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Kolobnev takes one to the chin there. Kolobnev takes one to the side of the head.
Orlandinovic throws a chopping leg kick but Kolobnev manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Kolobnev keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Orlandinovic is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Kolobnev misses with a head kick.
Orlandinovic tried to score with a low kick but Kolobnev checks it. Kolobnev's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Orlandinovic connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kolobnev scrambles back to his feet. Dejan Orlandinovic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Orlandinovic fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Kolobnev checks it well. Kolobnev misses with a straight left. Orlandinovic gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Kolobnev is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
