Lucas comes to the cage accompanied by God Of War Music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mota lands a front kick.
Mota tries a low kick but Lucas avoids it.
Mota lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Lucas is breathing heavily.
Lucas chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Mota can pounce on him.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mota connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Mota lands a big head kick that sends Lucas tumbling to the mat! Mota takes a step backwards and waves Lucas back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Ares Lucas has been cut.

Oh Lucas is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Shogun feints and then cracks Billy's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Billy down.

Mauricio Shogun seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shogun is looking to clinch but Billy is avoiding it.
