21 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Champ Bombada! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bombada misses with a series of wild punches.
A cross from Pirinen lands. Pirinen comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. A telegraphed right hand from Pirinen misses the target. Bombada misses with a few strikes there.
Bombada misses with a straight left. Pirinen tries to clinch up. Pirinen pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Bombada takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Bombada digs a good body shot into Pirinen's ribs. Bombada uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Pirinen throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Bombada moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Pirinen scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Champ Bombada is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Pirinen lands a glancing blow to the side of Bombada's head. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Pirinen. Pirinen takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Bombada keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bombada lands a jab to Pirinen's midsection. Pirinen loads up on a big right hand but Bombada slips the punch. Veli Pirinen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bombada goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Pirinen fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Bombada has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Pirinen fails in his attempt to clinch. Pirinen throws a jab but it's blocked by Bombada. Pirinen showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Bombada.
Pirinen with a nice cross. Bombada digs a good body shot into Pirinen's ribs. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Pirinen drives through with a takedown into guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pirinen accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Pirinen is looking to pass into half guard but Bombada pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Bombada is in guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Veli Pirinen will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

No joy there for Bombada, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Pirinen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Bombada takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Pirinen feints and then cracks Bombada's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bombada down. Bombada slips a jab from Pirinen. Pirinen wants to clinch. Bombada avoids the body shot from Pirinen.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. A cross from Bombada lands. Champ Bombada has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hulskan gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Kashka makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Hulskan misses with a takedown attempt and Kashka counters with a nice double leg into half guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Kashka is figuring out what he wants to do next. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kashka seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Hulskan for as long as he can get away with. Kashka is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Hesus Kashka. Kashka throws a head kick that misses. Kashka swings for the body but Hulskan moves out of range.
Kashka lands a high kick to the side of Hulskan's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Kashka dives into guard, looking to finish.
Hulskan is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hulskan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Kashka gets to his feet - Hulskan follows without any prompting.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kashka throws a head kick that misses. Nice takedown defense from Kashka. No joy for Hulskan on that attempt. Hesus Kashka has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sasha Hulskan. A head kick misses from Kashka. Hulskan fails with a takedown attempt. Kashka takes a swing at Hulskan's ribcage but misses. Hulskan drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Kashka pushes Hulskan away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Hulskan gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Kashka is breathing heavily. Hulskan is working to tighten is grip on Kashka's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Kashka has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Hulskan is really squeezing tight and eventually Kashka passes out! Hulskan breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Baller is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lehnsherr. Lehnsherr ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Lehnsherr pushes Baller up against the cage in a clinch. This has been an exciting period of action! Lehnsherr breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. A combination from Lehnsherr does no damage. Lehnsherr lands a nice shot that snaps Baller's head back.
Lehnsherr misses with a straight right. Baller is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. A nice combination there by Lehnsherr.

It looks like Kalle Uzi has been cut. Overeem cracks Uzi with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Riseman lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Riseman throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
It looks like Flako Gracie has been cut. No luck for Gracie with that takedown attempt. Riseman rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gracie moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Gracie avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Riseman throws a head kick that misses. Riseman looks to land a combination but Gracie avoids it well. Riseman misses with a double jab.

Riseman rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gracie moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Gracie lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Riseman tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gracie was well out of range. Poor timing from Riseman. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Riseman checks a leg kick. That kick from Riseman tenderised Gracie's leg. Gracie is trying to keep his angry face on. Riseman avoids the head kick by Gracie.

That was a close round but I would say that Flako Gracie will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Flako Gracie's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Riseman throws a chopping leg kick but Gracie manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Riseman throws a right hand that Gracie ducks under and follows up with a left that Gracie also avoids with ease. Riseman throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Riseman scores with the left hand. Gracie knows he should have avoided that one. Gracie throws an overhand right that lands on Riseman's shoulder, as Riseman tries to avoid the shot. Riseman throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gracie. Riseman throws a right and a left that Gracie avoids nicely. A clash of legs there as Riseman blocks the low kick. Riseman finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Gracie thows a leg kick but Riseman checks it and Riseman counters with a three punch combo that has Gracie backing up. Gracie nods at Riseman to acknowledge the strikes. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gracie wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Vitonen works Costanza's body with a nice hook. Vitonen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Costanza moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Vitonen connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Vitonen fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Costanza. Vitonen feints and then cracks Costanza's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Costanza down. Vitonen misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Costanza.
Nahka Vitonen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A punch lands to the side of Costanza 's head but he takes it in his stride. Costanza takes a shot right to the bread basket. Vitonen lands with a good body shot. Vitonen connects with a body shot. The crowd cheers as Vitonen lands an impressive looking overhand right. Costanza doesn't seem phased though. Look low, kick high! Vitonen uses the oldest trick in the book to send Costanza tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Vitonen is absolutely delighted - when Costanza wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
