McGee keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Lang shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Cooper defends it nicely.
Lang shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Cooper pinned against the cage. Cooper gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Lang misses with a jab, cross combination.
Lang works the jab nicely.
Cooper uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Lang.
Lang fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Cooper looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Lang feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Cooper sprawling to the canvas! Cooper rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Lang finish him?!

Cooper seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lang does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lang can do anything to dispel that myth.
Cooper is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Lang is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Cooper thows a huge punch but Lang dodges it nicely.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Lang stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lang wants it to stay on the feet.

Lang is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Cooper.

Cooper has hold of Lang's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Lang tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Cooper cranks the arm and Lang screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Lang, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
