Lombard lands a left and a right that send Drone crashing to the mat, dazed. Lombard thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Tyson Drone has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Drone dips to his left and cracks Lombard with an uppercut!

Matter closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Huntti closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Suraski to the mat! Suraski manages to get full guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Giorgio Valentino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boudreaux Godeaux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Godeaux has chosen Battle Ready as his entrance music. Boudreaux Godeaux told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one!
