The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Akamai looks to land a combination but Oogway avoids it well. Oogway shoots for a takedown but Akamai saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Akamai lands a right hook to the body.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Oogway. Nice takedown defense from Akamai. No joy for Oogway on that attempt. Felix Akamai has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Oogway can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Oogway scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Oogway really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Akamai. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Oogway postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Akamai looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Akamai looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Oogway is defending well. Akamai quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Oogway has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Akamai celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Delight moves into the clinch. Wyrzykowski tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Delight smiles and moves away.

It looks like Michal Wyrzykowski has been cut. Delight lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Delight lands with a short head shot on the inside. Delight unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Wyrzykowski! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Delight is unloading with more strikes now! Wyrzykowski drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!

Millidge pushes Van Damme against the cage but Van Damme circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Nice defenses there by Millidge. Van Damme lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Van Damme displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Millidge throws out the jab. Millidge seems to have recovered his senses. Van Damme throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Millidge throws a big shot that misses. Millidge throws the left hand but Van Damme avoids the punch easily. Van Damme has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Millidge finds it's way round the side to connect with Van Damme's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Van Damme pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Van Damme scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Richard Millidge seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fighters circle, before Van Damme throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Millidge's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Van Damme lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Nick Alvarez! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Colin Fray and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Nice shot lands for Alvarez. Alvarez slaps away a takedown attempt from Johnson, before circling back to the center of the mat. Good standup being displayed there by Alvarez as he connects with a hook. Stan Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Alvarez stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Good leg kick by Johnson there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Nice defenses there by Alvarez. Alvarez cracks Johnson with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Johnson walks into a stiff left hand from Alvarez. I think Jackson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Eye of the Tiger. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shamrock shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bain defends it nicely. Shamrock changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kurt Bain is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Shamrock has taken the fight to the clinch.

Lanastar is rocked! Pinzner throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Lanastar's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Pinzner dives in looking to finish as Lanastar flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Pinzner's strikes! Pinzner is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Lanastar's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Lanastar was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

Flying Fox throws a chopping leg kick but Kron manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Kron shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Flying Fox napping and manages to drive through into side control! If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Flying Fox is not content to let Kron control the position. Kron lands a nice forearm strike. Kron is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Flying Fox will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Flying Fox tries to bench press Kron off him but Kron keeps the position. Kron controlling from side mount.

Kron working the head with strikes. Kron misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Kron is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Flying Fox is looking to regain half guard here but Kron keeps moving and retains side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Obed Flying Fox showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Eldoth Kron's cut. That's time! Back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Flying Fox tries to sprawl out of it but Kron keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Flying Fox manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eldoth Kron. That's going to take a lot out of him. Flying Fox gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Horrible takedown by Flying Fox or perhaps it was just good defense by Kron which made him look bad. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Flying Fox paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Flying Fox closes the distance and clinches. Kron tries for a takedown. No joy.

Sorsa wants to clinch. Sorsa tries to score with a low kick but Diaz moves his leg out of the way. Sorsa throws a leg kick which misses Diaz's front leg but catches the back leg as Diaz tries to avoid it. Sorsa lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Sorsa throws a nice looking combination but Diaz bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Diaz lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Diaz avoids the head kick by Sorsa.
