The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Roussimoff wants to clinch up but Pikachoo keeps it at a distance. Pikachoo keeps the fight on the outside. Pikachoo tries to clinch but Roussimoff is having none of it. Roussimoff shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Pikachoo wants to improve his position but Roussimoff is controlling well.
Pikachoo tries to kick Roussimoff off but Roussimoff keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Roussimoff thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Pikachoo's head. Roussimoff sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Pikachoo defending well though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Roussimoff is looking for a kimura but Pikachoo is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Roussimoff to get the leverage.

Roussimoff would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Roussimoff wants to control from the top but Pikachoo keeps moving. Roussimoff advances to half guard. Pikachoo is staying active underneath Roussimoff, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Pikachoo wants to get back to his feet.
Pikachoo is controlling Roussimoff's trapped leg to prevent Roussimoff from advancing to side control. Roussimoff is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Pikachoo takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Pikachoo shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Roussimoff sprawls well. Roussimoff wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Pikachoo gets slowly back to his feet. Pikachoo shoots for a double leg takedown but Roussimoff sprawls well. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Roussimoff manages to end up in side control. Pikachoo is looking for a sweep. Caveman misses with a straight left. Caveman thows a body shot but no joy. Caveman tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Riviera counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Lennon throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Pokaku tumbling to the canvas!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Warrior drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Warrior preventing the sweep. Warrior slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Diaz is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Warrior trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Warrior stands and throws Diaz's legs to the side, diving into side control. Ultimate Warrior showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Warrior closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Diaz's guard. Warrior is stalling in the full guard. Warrior is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Warrior stays in close to Diaz's body and controls the position. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Warrior trying to control but Diaz is working from the bottom.

Warrior controlling from the top position. Warrior trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Warrior passes Diaz's left leg - he's now in half guard. Warrior works his foot free and advances to mount. Warrior looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

Clark lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Clark throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Madnick's head. A left lands for Clark. Cabreros manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Peter Cabreros has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Forrest Gump. Danga de danga de dang - Cabreros scores with a four punch combination! Gump keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Cabreros. Peter Cabreros seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A shot to the body from Cabreros misses and Gump counters with a good low kick that Cabreros was not able to check. A head kick from Gump lands but Cabreros takes it in his stride.
