The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Evangelista looks to land a combination but Moroon avoids it well. Evangelista looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Moroon swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
so Evangelista counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Evangelista has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Moroon being controlled here, momentarily. Moroon is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Evangelista tries to close the distance and clinch but Moroon swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Moroon lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
This has been an exciting period of action! Evangelista takes a shot right to the bread basket. Sunny Evangelista is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Moroon fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

He's worked his way up against the cage but McArmsnappington has just dragged him back down to the mat. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A looping hook to the body misses from De La Vega. Fox does a little dance to reset his feet. De La Vega ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Fox tries to land a front kick but De La Vega steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. De La Vega drops Fox with a left right combo! De La Vega follows him down to the ground into side control.
Fox is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. De La Vega working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. De La Vega working the head with strikes. Fox is still in real trouble! Can De La Vega finish him? You can see the frustration on Fox's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Fox seems to have recovered his senses. Fox really doesn't want to stay on the ground with De La Vega. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The ground and pound from De La Vega seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. De La Vega throws a strike aimed at the side of Fox's head but Fox avoids it well. De La Vega goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Fox rolls with the submission and now he's on top in De La Vega's guard! Nice work there by Fox! De La Vega is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Fox is controlling him.

8 - 10 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Redfield! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Hugh Johnson and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Redfield has managed to clinch.
Redfield tries a body shot but Slice blocks it.
Redfield digs a right hand into Slice's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Slice's gas tank. Slice stops a takedown attempt from Redfield.

Slice's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Horrible takedown by Slice or perhaps it was just good defense by Redfield which made him look bad. Redfield is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Slice is breathing heavily. Slice thows a body shot but no joy. Redfield looks for a takedown but Slice sprawls well. Slice swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Redfield trying to control the position here. Slice trying to control but Redfield is working from the bottom. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Slice controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Tekken Slice just wasn't active enough. Redfield lands a jab. Redfield doesn't manage to clinch there - Slice circles away.

Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Slice walks away with a smile on his face. Redfield gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Slice has taken the fight to the clinch.

Slice manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Slice stalling in the clinch but Redfield improves position. Slice cracks Redfield with a nice body shot. Redfield misses with a shot to the kidneys.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Slice is looking to break free of the clinch but Redfield has double underhooks. Slice escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Redfield really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Slice. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Redfield wants to get up but he can't break Slice's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Slice trying to control the position.

It's hard to tell if that hurt Slice or not. Slice has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Redfield clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Slice is fighting to break Redfield's control of his arms but Redfield is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
