The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bubba tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Suco lands a slapping body shot.
Donk. Suco catches Bubba right on the button with a cross. Suco lands with a straight right. Bubba didn't see that one coming. No luck for Bubba with that takedown attempt. Suco throws a leg kick but Bubba sees it coming and checks it nicely. Suco is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Bubba throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Suco's waist but Suco gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bubba off to one side. Suco lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Bubba at a distance.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bubba takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Ruben Bubba seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bubba is breathing heavily. Suco throws a good cross that connects.
Bubba shoots in and drives through. Suco sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ruben Bubba. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nice jab there from Suco. Bubba misses with a takedown attempt - Suco sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Suco scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Bubba doesn't seem bothered though. Suco jabs at Bubba's body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Suco moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Suco closes the distance and lands a one-two. Suco scores with a hook to the body. Bubba takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Suco connects with a nice looking jab.

Bubba is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Suco drops Bubba with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Bubba! Suco dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Renald fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Burris pushes Renald up against the ropes in a clinch. Renald tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Good anti-grappling being displayed by Renald as Burris tries to tie him up. Renald connects with a nasty looking knee right to Burris's face.
Burris takes a knee to the side of the body. Burris breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Burris clinches up with Renald and pushes him back against the ropes. Renald slows down the pace here.

That's one minute gone in the round. Renald trying to land knees to the body.
Burris's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Renald has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Renald there as he acknowledges the shot. Renald is trying hard to land a takedown here. Burris sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Burris lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Burris pushes Renald up against the ropes in a clinch. Burris has Renald pressed up against the ropes. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Burris pulls back from the ropes and twists to the side, sending Renald tumbling to the mat - Burris dives into Renald's guard. Renald has control of Burris's left arm, preventing Burris from doing any damage. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Burris trying to control the position from guard on top but Renald is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Renald throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Burris throwing strikes from guard but Renald blocks nicely. Burris postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Renald avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Renald manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Burris can't escape the position.
Burris really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Renald. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Renald lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Renald avoids the attempt from Burris to control. Burris might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Renald kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Renald lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Burris hang on? Renald raining down shots from the mount! Renald connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Renald putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Renald landing strikes from the mount. Burris looks winded! Renald scoring with strikes but Burris is staying in there. Renald with shots to the head and body - Burris looks very uncomfortable down there. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Renald working Burris over with strikes here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brodie drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Brodie postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Brodie content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Brodie scoring with some ground and pound. Brodie content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Brodie trying to control the position from guard on top but Daniels is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Brodie passes easily into side control. Nice work. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Brodie thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Brodie misses with the ground and pound. Daniels avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Brodie. Brodie working the head and body with strikes. Brodie has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. The strikes coming from Brodie are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brodie has knee on belly and moves into mount. Daniels taking shots to the head. Brodie putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Daniels is in a horrible position here. Brodie smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
This has been an exciting period of action! Brodie lands a heavy elbow. Brodie scoring with strikes but Daniels is staying in there. Brodie working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Brodie lands with some strikes. Brodie lands a big shot there that rocks Daniels but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. BOOM! Brodie connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Daniels is rocked! Brodie working Daniels over with strikes here. Oh Daniels is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brodie cracks Daniels with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Brodie is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Daniels goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Brodie!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lewis's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Strife connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Lewis scrambles back to his feet. Strife moves into the clinch. Lewis is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Strife is defending well for now. Strife pushes Lewis back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head. Lewis goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Strife is trying to break the clinch but Lewis is controlling him. Strife misses with a hook to the ribs.
Strife lands a body punch. Lewis with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
It looks like Cloud Strife has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lewis lands an elbow inside that Strife shrugs off. Strife misses with a hook from the clinch. Strife manages to break the clinch.
Strife lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
The fight stays on the outside here - Lewis looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Strife scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Strife tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lewis swats him away and circles back towards the center. Ray Lewis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lewis swats away the attempt to clinch by Strife. Strife closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice body punch from Strife - that landed with a thud.

That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Strife takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. A short uppercut from Strife. Lewis landing knees to the head.
Lewis looks winded! Lewis lands a hook that snaps the head of Strife backwards. Strife breaks from the clinch.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Strife has cracked Lewis with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Strife lands another huge swinging hook and Lewis tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Lewis, before Strife can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Cloud Strife! After the fight, Cloud Strife was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gruberman checks the leg kick nicely there.
Ed Gruberman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kelly throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Gruberman. Kelly throws a low kick but Gruberman moves out of range easily. Kelly throws a nice outside leg kick. Gruberman digs a good hook to Kelly's body.
Gruberman throws out a powerful jab. Gruberman misses with an attempted mid kick.
Gruberman pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Gruberman throws a sloppy head kick and Kelly moves out of range easily. Kelly misses with a head kick.
Kelly throws a push kick but Gruberman slaps the foot to one side. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Kelly crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Gruberman - the referee stops the clock and Kelly gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Gruberman. Kelly manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Gruberman tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kelly was well out of range. Poor timing from Gruberman. Gruberman scores with a kick to the midsection. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kelly attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. A head kick misses from Gruberman. Gruberman looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Kelly takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Kelly pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Gruberman avoids the body shot from Kelly.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kelly pivots, looking for a leg kick but Gruberman is out of range and Kelly settles back down. Gruberman tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Kelly lands a leg kick that knocks Gruberman off balance momentarily. Kelly walks forward, straight into a front kick from Gruberman. Gruberman scores with a jab. Gruberman tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Kelly is able to avoid easily. Gruberman throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kelly feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Gruberman's calf. A head kick misses from Gruberman. Kelly throws a solid leg kick but Gruberman takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Kelly. Gruberman looks to land a body kick but Kelly moved away. Kelly blocks the body kick.
Gruberman misses with a hook. Kelly ducked under it nicely. Gruberman is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kelly. A clash of legs there as Gruberman blocks the low kick. Gruberman waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kelly. Gruberman throws a sloppy head kick and Kelly moves out of range easily. Kelly blocks a head kick by Gruberman.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kelly lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Gruberman throws a big shot that misses. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gruberman checks a leg kick nicely. Gruberman tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Gruberman throws a quick inside leg kick. Kelly tries a low kick but Gruberman avoids it. Kelly lands a head kick. Gruberman smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Kelly throws a low kick but Gruberman avoids it. A slapping leg kick lands for Kelly.

Narushima throws a sloppy head kick and Peric moves out of range easily. Narushima misses with a low kick. Narushima feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Peric's calf. Narushima tries a head kick but it misses.
Narushima misses with a leg kick and Peric counters with a head kick that drops Narushima to the mat! Narushima scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Narushima is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Narushima chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Peric can pounce on him.
Oh Narushima is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Narushima throws a lazy head kick and Peric counters with a head kick from the bowels of hell that crumples Narushima! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Josip Peric! A relieved looking Josip Peric thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
