The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Youngblud closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Rambo to the mat! Rambo manages to get full guard.

Rambo is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Youngblud breaks the clinch.
Rambo keeps the fight on the outside.
Rambo throws a sloppy head kick and Youngblud moves out of range easily.

Rambo gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Rambo is trying to control the position but Youngblud postures up.

Rambo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Youngblud gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Rambo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Youngblud can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rambo is on top in guard.
Youngblud wants to stand and escape but Rambo is having none of it.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Busta Smirnov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Kadota.
Kadota cracks Maier with a good jab.
Kadota throws a right hand that Maier ducks under and follows up with a left that Maier also avoids with ease.
Kadota throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
The fighters circling - Kadota throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Maier shoots for a takedown but Kadota saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Nice takedown defense from Kadota. No joy for Maier on that attempt.
Kadota throws a leg kick but Maier sees it coming and moves out of range.
Maier moves in looking to clinch but Kadota pushes him off.
Maier wants to clinch up but Kadota keeps it at a distance.
Kadota looks to land a body kick but Maier moved away.

Kadota throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Maier works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Maier wants to improve his position but instead Kadota has moved into half guard.

Maier had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kadota defends it easily.
