The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sztyca takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Sztyca shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Sztyca showed some decent athleticism there. Studd is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Sztyca content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Studd is trying to stand back up but Sztyca is controlling him
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Sztyca is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Studd preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sztyca wants to take a breather but Studd is having none of it. Studd keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Studd wants to control the action here but instead Sztyca manages to pass to full mount! Sztyca controlling his opponent. Sztyca unloads with some shots from mount but Studd bucks and avoids them well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sztyca fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Studd keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Studd is squirming around, avoiding Sztyca's attempts to control the action. Sztyca goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Studd turns into him and now he's in Sztyca's guard.
Studd wants to get up but he can't break Sztyca's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Sztyca is looking for a triangle here but Studd uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
This has been an exciting period of action! Studd controls the position from side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sztyca is looking to reverse the position. Studd trying to control the action but Sztyca is working from the bottom. Studd tries for a kimura but Sztyca is defending well. You can see the frustration on Sztyca's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Studd stands up and we're back to a striking position. Sztyca keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Studd misses with a double jab
and Sztyca counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Sztyca uses his free foot to push down on Studd's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Studd. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sztyca landing strikes from the mount and Studd is in trouble! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sztyca scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Studd?

Sztyca throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Studd. Cezar Sztyca is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Studd shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Sztyca actively working from the bottom here. Studd seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Sztyca does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Studd throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Studd trying to pass the guard but Sztyca defending well. Studd wants to take a breather but Sztyca is having none of it. Sztyca has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Studd is working away from the top position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sztyca is looking for a sweep. Studd is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Sztyca missing with punches from the bottom.
Sztyca regains full guard. Nicely done. Studd preventing the sweep. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sztyca wants to stand up but Studd is controlling him. Sztyca is looking for a triangle but Studd pushes his legs off easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Studd would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Studd wants to control from the top but Sztyca keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Studd sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Sztyca's guard. Studd is looking for a kimura here.
Sztyca tries to get to full guard but Studd has control of the leg. Cezar Sztyca overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Sztyca avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Studd. Studd is looking for a kimura but Sztyca is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Studd to get the leverage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Studd wants to stand up but Sztyca is controlling the position.
Sztyca gets full guard. Studd trying to control the position from guard on top but Sztyca is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sztyca wants to stand but Studd is controlling the position. Sztyca is adopting a defensive guard. Studd trying to control but Sztyca is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sztyca has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Studd can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Studd postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Sztyca is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Studd, into his guard. Studd controls Sztyca momentarily but Sztyca frees himself. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Studd manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sztyca manages to get himself to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but John Studd will probably get the nod - 10:9. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Sztyca gets caught napping as Studd dives in and scores a takedown. Sztyca manages to retain guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Sztyca is on top in guard.
Studd is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Sztyca passes Studd's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Sztyca is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Sztyca is looking to take a break and control but Studd is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Sztyca keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Sztyca seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Studd does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Studd is trying to control but can't.
Cezar Sztyca has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Sztyca swats away the attempt to clinch by Studd. Studd looks to clinch and Sztyca counters with a takedown into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sztyca lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Studd down.
Sztyca laying and praying for a moment but Studd takes advantage and regains half guard. Sztyca takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. This has been an exciting period of action! Studd misses with some strikes from the bottom.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Sztyca wants to lay and pray for a moment but Studd keeps working. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Cezar Sztyca. Studd shoots in looking for a takedown. Sztyca tries to sprawl out of it but Studd keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sztyca manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Studd takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Studd shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Sztyca drives through with a takedown into guard. Sztyca stops Studd from standing up. Sztyca sitting in guard here, content to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Sztyca won't allow Studd to sweep him here.
We're going to have a standup here because Cezar Sztyca wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Sztyca decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Studd trying to control here.
This has been an exciting period of action! Sztyca seems to be working for a kimura but Studd defends the submission attempt. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sztyca stands up and beckons Studd to join him on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chong closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Tworzewski to the mat! Tworzewski manages to get full guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Chong drops back looking for a leg! Tworzewski is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Tworzewski manages to kick Chong off! Chong jumps back into Tworzewski's guard. Tworzewski keeping moving, preventing Chong from controlling successfully. Chong tries to free his leg and advance position but Tworzewski is retaining full guard. Tworzewski could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Chong trying to control the position from guard on top but Tworzewski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Chong drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Chong as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Tworzewski screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Chong! Nice submission victory there!

A very excited looking Tommy Chong made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bergman looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Bergman avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gracie wants to sweep here but Bergman controlling him for the moment. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gracie is on top in guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bergman wants to sweep but no luck. Gracie is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Gracie drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Bergman manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Gracie has Bergman in his guard. Bergman thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Gracie is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Gracie keeping full guard, as Bergman tries to pass. Bergman slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Gracie is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Bergman is defending against the submission attempts here by Gracie.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Gracie frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Gracie is working for a guillotine from mount but Bergman frees his head quite easily.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Looney shoots in for a takedown and gets it. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Magnusov is trying to stand back up but Looney is controlling him
Looney knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Magnusov on the ground. Looney looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Magnusov with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
It looks like Viktor Magnusov has been cut. Looney thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Magnusov's head. Magnusov is trying to control but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Looney not landing any meaningful shots this time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Looney wants to pass to mount but Magnusov is defending the position. Looney winds up and cracks Magnusov with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Looney is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Magnusov is rocked! Looney scores with a big shot! Magnusov's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Magnusov! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Squirel throws a combination that misses and Lister counters with a lovely shot to the body. The fight moves into the clinch position. Lister is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Squirel has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Squirel has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Squirel is defending well against a takedown attempt. Squirel breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Lister feints and as Squirel raises his hands in defense, Lister changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lister throws a big elbow that misses. Lister won't allow Squirel to get back to his feet. Lister is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lister is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lister passes into half guard. Squirel really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lister. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Squirel makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Squirel slaps away a takedown attempt from Lister, before circling back to the center of the mat. Lister shoots in and drives through. Squirel sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Lister. That's going to take a lot out of him. Squirel blocks a head kick by Lister.
Squirel lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lister circles away quickly and effectively. Squirel will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Lister. Squirel misses with a combination
and Lister counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Lister shoots for a double leg takedown but Squirel sprawls well. He's pushed Lister's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lister darts in and clinches Squirel up against the cage. Lister keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Squirel's efforts to push away. Squirel looks winded! Squirel is trying to push Lister away but Lister has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Lister has hold of one of Squirel's legs. Squirel is fighting the takedown attempt but Lister gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Lister not doing a lot at the moment. A head kick misses from Lister. Nice takedown defense from Squirel. No joy for Lister on that attempt. Squirel throws a nice looking combination but Lister bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Squirel rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lister moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lister moves into range and clinches up with Squirel. Lister jumps guard and drags Squirel to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Lister looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Squirel would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Squirel stands up and waves to Lister to follow him. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Squirel gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Squirel is looking to stand up but Lister isn't so interested in that idea. Lister is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Lister slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Squirel is wriggling around trying to escape but Lister has hooked up a rear naked choke! Is it over??? Is it... you're damn right it is! Squirel taps out and Lister picks up the big win! Great work there by Lister!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King misses with a takedown and Cleo counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. King had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Cleo defends it easily. King looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Cleo passes into side control.
King is pushing Cleo's head away, looking to escape. Cleo manages to hold on to the position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. King is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Cleo is one step ahead and moves to full mount! King really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
King wants to get back to his feet but in bucking up he's left an arm hanging out! Cleo has locked onto it and has pulled off a slick armbar! King taps furiously! This one is all over!
