Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Really Suck! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Carlos Farofa! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Suck shoots and misses and Farofa counters with a nice uppercut. Suck fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Farofa avoids it really well and circles away. Farofa dodges the punch combination from Suck.
Farofa feints a jab promting Suck to slip. Farofa then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Suck slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Farofa has taken the fight to the clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Suck fails to pull guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Really Suck. That's going to take a lot out of him. Farofa manages to break the clinch.
Farofa lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Farofa darts in and clinches Suck up against the cage. Farofa escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's one minute gone in the round. Farofa slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Farofa lands a left and a right that send Suck crashing to the mat, dazed. Farofa thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Suck is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Suck shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Farofa but Farofa pushes him off and we're back to square one. Oh Suck is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Suck is breathing heavily. Suck walks straight into a right hand from Farofa - that's dropped him! Farofa jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Suck from any more punishment! Suck complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Doyle fails to land the takedown. Wadde stuffs the takedown. Wadde looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Doyle fails with the takedown and Wadde counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Doyle thinking. Mark Wadde has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steven Doyle. Wadde lands a two punch combo.
It looks like Steven Doyle has been cut. A left and a right from Wadde both land. Nice combination. Steven Doyle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Doyle looks winded! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Doyle with a poor takedown and Wadde counters with a straight right hand. Wadde throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Doyle colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Wadde as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Doyle is left battered and dazed whilst Wadde and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mark Wadde! A relieved looking Mark Wadde thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stenner shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Standard as he avoids it easily. Standard tries to close the distance and clinch but Stenner swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Standard misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Standard moves to clinch but Stenner breaks away and Stenner counters with a nice double leg into guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Stenner drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Standard manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Stenner has Standard in his guard. Standard won't allow Stenner to sweep him here. Standard has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Stenner to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Standard is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Stenner pulls down on the head and he's put Standard to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Gerd Stenner! An out of breath Gerd Stenner thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tugarinov fails with the takedown and Permitis counters with a single leg into guard. Tugarinov didn't expect that. Permitis with a nice head shot there. Tugarinov keeping moving, preventing Permitis from controlling successfully. Permitis stands up over Tugarinov, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Permitis is in close to Tugarinov's body, working some short punches and elbows. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Permitis looking to pass the guard. Permitis drops back looking for a leg! Tugarinov is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Tugarinov manages to kick Permitis off! Permitis jumps back into Tugarinov's guard. Tugarinov looking for a guillotine here but Permitis defends easily.

Tugarinov gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Permitis counters with a one-two to the body. Permitis closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Permitis is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Tugarinov is just riding it out for now. Permitis eventually gives up the hold. Permitis tries to stand and escape but Tugarinov is controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Tugarinov looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Permitis working the head and body with strikes. Permitis is looking for a kimura but Tugarinov is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Permitis to get the leverage. Permitis wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tugarinov keeps working. Permitis working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Ground and pound from Permitis. Permitis lands strikes from half guard. Tugarinov works his way to full guard. Good work. Tugarinov working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Permitis doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Permitis manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Permitis thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Permitis pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Tugarinov is keeping the position for now. Permitis pushes down on Tugarinov's leg and manages to get into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tugarinov looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Permitis is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Tugarinov actively working from the bottom here. Tugarinov looking for submissions off his back. Tugarinov is not content to let Permitis control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Permitis seems to be working for a kimura but Tugarinov defends the submission attempt. Permitis working the head and body with strikes. Permitis seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Permitis slows the pace down in half guard. Permitis is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Tugarinov is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Permitis pulls his head out easily. Permitis is keen to just control but Tugarinov is a slippery customer. Tugarinov looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Tugarinov is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Tugarinov is defending against the submission attempts here by Permitis.

Possibly, maybe, no Permitis has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Tugarinov is working to avoid the ground and pound but Permitis connects with a decent elbow. Tugarinov is not in a great position here, taking some shots. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Permitis landing a few strikes. Francois Permitis overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Permitis moves into full mount! Permitis lands with some strikes. Tugarinov is squirming around, avoiding Permitis's attempts to control the action. Permitis is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Tugarinov has managed to escape the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tugarinov is desperately trying to improve his position but Permitis has a good base and remains in mount. Permitis scoring with strikes but Tugarinov is staying in there. Tugarinov working to try and regain half guard.
Permitis is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Tugarinov can do to turn this around? A nice elbow there by Permitis. Permitis trying to control but Tugarinov is having none of it. Tugarinov is trying to reverse the position but instead Permitis has taken his back - oops!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Permitis patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Tugarinov is in bad spot here.
Permitis has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Permitis punishes Tugarinov with strikes from the back mount. You can see the frustration on Tugarinov's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Permitis scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Tugarinov is looking for a way out. Permitis looking to break Tugarinov's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Tugarinov remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Permitis will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Tugarinov is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Permitis scores with punches and elbows. Permitis working for a choke but Tugarinov is defending well. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Tugarinov tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Permitis controlling from the full mount. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tugarinov is looking to get to half guard. Permitis lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

After the fight, Francois Permitis was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. SirBoss stuffs the takedown. SirBoss on the wrong end of a nice jab. SirBoss misses with a kick to the body and Jenkins counters with a body kick that stops SirBoss in his tracks momentarily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! SirBoss looks for the body kick but Jenkins saw that one coming. Jenkins takes a swing at SirBoss's ribcage but misses. SirBoss misses with a body shot.

Jenkins connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed SirBoss momentarily.
Jenkins lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as SirBoss checks a leg kick. SirBoss throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jenkins rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but SirBoss moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jenkins catches SirBoss with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Jenkins lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
SirBoss is rocked! Jenkins has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. SirBoss steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jenkins. Oh SirBoss is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! SirBoss steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jenkins. Jenkins throws a hook but SirBoss blocks it. The fighters circling - Jenkins throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Jenkins throws an uppercut from half a mile away. SirBoss sees it coming and avoids it easily. SirBoss looks to throw a body kick and Jenkins counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. SirBoss is breathing heavily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! SirBoss uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Jenkins. SirBoss seems to have got his legs back now. Good shot there by Jenkins. SirBoss takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Jenkins connects with a body shot that sends SirBoss's belly button to the back. SirBoss takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Jenkins comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. That kick from Jenkins tenderised SirBoss's leg. SirBoss is trying to keep his angry face on. Jenkins drops SirBoss with a straight right hand, right on the button! Jenkins follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cuk throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Cuk moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Kasserman misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Cuk.

Kasserman ducks under a wild hook from Cuk. Cuk throws a series of punches but Kasserman avoids them all with ease. Kasserman tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Kasserman looks to land a left hand but Cuk moved out of range nicely. Cuk moves into range and connects with a jab. Cuk tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kasserman swats him away and circles back towards the center. Kasserman pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Cuk fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Kasserman on the side of the head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kasserman throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Cuk with a hook. Kasserman throws a sloppy head kick and Cuk moves out of range easily. A slow jab from Kasserman misses its intended target. Kasserman keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
